    I want you to stop giving me a sodding 20' putter when I have a 9' putt, and a 50' putter when I have a 19' putt.

Alternatively you could just make your bloody minds up which  one you are going to give me, and give me the same one consistently. Half the time a 9' putt gives me a 10' putter, half the time it's a 20' putter.

    Poxy thing.

Getting back to the OP, I'm fine with whatever increments are on current putters. What I'd like to see, though, is the putter default to the shortest increment automatically on any putt, even from the fringe. The player already has to adjust increments. Players should have the same starting point every time they are "handed" the putter by the caddy.

Consistency in presentation is a key and currently that is lacking.

Would like to see one more increment on the Nike Method Putter, it goes from 20 - 50, another increment inbetween would be great and make this an Super Excellent Putter.

    Enquiring minds what to know

On the off-chance that you're still watching this thread.

Please make a set of level-appropriate putters (not a MAX) that include the 10/30/45/60/120/200 meter set (aka 4,6,9,12,16,20 for a male avatar).  High precision and balance preferred.  Brand is not important, though if it were Ping that would be a nice-to-have.

I haven't a had a putter I enjoy since the Redwood ZB, which was like 6 years ago.  The max I have now has the same 4.0 precision that the ZB had (which I still have).  I need something better than a MAX.

    Thanks, perhaps.

Then Fan you would want the Versa L96+ putter . Its a great putter check it out . I would like to see a new Versa putter as well equal to the L100+ Nike putter .Even though I already have the 96+ Versa I would buy a new upgrade if it came out .

I agree but he's gotta get to 96 first.  :-)

Unfortunately, that Versa appears to lack the 10ft and 45ft meters, which is something I would prefer to have.  I actually find the 10ft meter (4-4-2) to be quite crucial and better than 15 (15 is 6-6-3).  The 45-ft meter works in 9 foot increments, which is perfect when sandwiched between 30 and 60.  It basically gives you a 6, 9, 12 step up.

    60 is the same as 90, so I don't need that.  I like 120, and frankly I don't even need/want a 300 meter.  If I'm that far away I don't deserve to putt.

Thanks for pointing it out though.  I was hoping maybe I misread something. =(

Rather surprised to read that. Avatar-move putting is the only way I have ever putted ever since reading your primer on it 7 years ago and I find that 15 scale perfect for putts under 7 feet. The 30 scale steps right in with the first move being basically the same as the 15 scale, just a stronger finish. In other words, 1 move on the 15 scale falls in the front of the cup and 1 on the 30 scale almost hits the back of the cup.
