    derekortt:

The Callies I found required FBS too often and you couldn't attack some of the tucked holes.

I just had a look and saw you have the R11 irons.  When you get the L97 Nikes you'll find the L33 Cally works brilliantly with them.  The difference on holes such as BPB #5 is unreal.  The R11 almost always left a putt back down the green, the Nikes usually stop the ball short of the hole.

As soon as you get to L97 get them, they're seriously good.

Of course by then there'll probably be something even better at L102 or something.

Was planning on those Nikes at L97. Also, wanting the R11S at L94 mainly for those couple of extra yards. May allow me to attack the back left pin off the tee at Merion 10 (closest I got to that was 50 feet)

The thing about those 700 credit Nike balls though is that the quickly pay for themselves. I'd recommend buying a dozen and playing some RGs. You'll easily get your 2800 credits back by the time the balls expire. Those balls are a true game changer (not sure how they'll work with the Nike Irons... may end up producing far too much spin)

Would like to point MKG to page 5  his 2nd post on this thread.   Read and tell me who is accusing who and who is insulting who.     Page 5  Starting slinging more insults something about fish in  barrel.        Those who live in glass houses.  Shouldn't throw stones.     And will never apologize for what I know to be true.

So If its a minority of 1 who thinks this about the Black R1 .  Then why do threads pop up every week now  about it... ....Seems different players  Mention it.

And its the same old  TL  Black R1 users  that  come  throw in their 2 cents.      If your a high Level Player and still  use the Black R1... You have no argument.    You prove my point.

I mean  Level 110 players   still using that driver.    Perhaps other players have seen  the same thing I have seen about this  driver.    Hints  the fact  these  threads keep coming up.

Yet all some can do is insult and shoot down others opinions with childish insults.  Then  want to point  the finger at someone else when they get the feelings hurt.     Your barking up the wrong tree for a apology.      Don't hold your breath.

I think what you fail to understand is that it's not JUST the Black R1, but the White (level 98?) one as well...they are both the same club.

It makes no sense to sell the Black R1 back to buy the White one later one.

It the R1 that (IMO) players don't need to "upgrade" from.

After a few bracket wins this week, I cold easily get the highest level driver, but I see no need to spend the credits on it, as from what I've read/heard/etc, the higher (than my level 98 R1) drivers don't offer enough advantage (if any) to justify spending for ir.

Now that BB 3wood is looking danged enticing though... ;)
