It takes more than a sleeve or two of these balls to educate yourself on how to maximize the benefits of the new ball. I would imagine a positive attitude helps too. Maybe the first bell ringer you hit will get deviated short.

this is whats advertised......These balls will give you increased feel, extra spin, and extra distance. .................didnt give any extra what so ever, even with a ding....hhhhhmmm. dont know how u can defend them.

    LFARRELL:

ive never counted how many hits that i got from a gi-sd ball and i know that putting isnt supposed to take any life from your ball but it seems 2 me they are wearing out much faster then b4 can any1 shed some light on this subject....thanks....Leon

Leon, I totally agree with you on this one. It seems I'm going through 1-2 balls a day with the Callaway Legend  balls. This was never the case with any ball I've played with previously and it's apparent that I'll have to start recording my shots against another ball with the same life-span rating.

Anyone besides me experiencing fluctuating meter speeds from hole to hole using the same club with any of the balls with feel including the callaways?

FWIT. Before giving up on the lvl 33 legend balls consider this

Legend balls seem to behave better than Callaways per this post.  I agree with hbthree's and YJ's findings.

I get ~95 shots with the Legend ball and ~120 with the Callaway Lvl33s.  Considering the cost of the Legend ball vs is about half, I figure playing the Legend costs me 2/3 of the cost of playing a Callaway.  So if cost is a factor for you then Legends are less expensive to play.

Granted, the difference in distance is a few yards.  But I only adjust for it on drivers and long irons.  Not much difference if any on wedges and short irons.

The real advantage for me of the Cally is the bit slower meter.
