Yep, just happy to be involved and mixing it with the big boys.  Top 100 is my aim.

why not push yourself? If you are good enough qualify then surely you are good enough for a top 10?!

    On another note...

Great format this yr with the 4 rounds but would have liked to seen a a top 3 finish pay out.

To think this 1 great tourny only happens once a year with thousands of players grinding away at it, then only 1 (but jolly big) prize at the end.

Thow in a real driver maybe for 2nd or even a couple of vouchers. Even the winner gets the holiday plus a $500 dollar voucher on top of that.

Cant blame a man for trying ..

I agree with you on the prizes.

I'd like to see them do away with the random draw prize and take the money that is spent on that and divide it up among the top 10.

I just checked my account and I was given the 2k of credits as promised by WGT.  Mine were labeled as an adjustment.   More than likely what WGT said is happening, the system doesn't understand how to deal with the excess winners and they are doing it by hand.

Anyway thanks to WGT for getting this done in a timely fashion and thanks for the credits, I think someone said we have about 250 qualifiers so WGT stepped up with 500,000 of credits.

Just hung a 56. Only missed 2 putts the entire round (18 total putts for round 1). Course is defenseless with the slow greens

Did have this on 10 http://www.wgt.com/gameclient.aspx?BRAND=VUSO_2014&view=showReplay&JSON=%257B%2522GUID%2522%253A%252260809339-4015-40ee-bef7-a35d003cbc19%2522%252C%2522Brand%2522%253A%2522VUSO_2014%2522%257D

For next year, I'd like this to count toward the virtual tour, just like the US Open counts toward the PGA Tour. Maybe a 500K credit purse with top 70 payouts. Maybe do that instead of paying all qualifiers

Well 58 for me....not bad but the putter let me down a couple times....should have been 56. Missed 5 footer on 18 for birdie and 8 footer on 16 for bird. Even with the slow greens i found the putts to break quite hard.....my suggestion would be to hit them firm but don't take too much break out of the putt for the speed. It will break.

    Good luck all

I'm English, we don't do optimism.

Aside from the 57 to get in, I've not shot under 60 around there.  I'm probably one of the newest members to be in it and at L87 there are still a few clubs out of my reach that would help.  Tied 100 is only one shot off where I currently am so a nice realistic goal I think.

Lost count of the number of 0.4 putts I was left with. Struggled big time with the green speed.

Opened with nice bird.... and then reality kicked in LOL

Left a 7ft birdie attempt short on #2 after decent approach.

Hit pin from 90 yards (never took it out) and died on edge of cup on #3.

Short on #4 with 10 footer resulting in bogey and continuously left putts short thereafter blah blah blah....

Decent 12 foot bird on last for a round of 63.

Course played fairly. Disappointed with my own putting attempts - should have been a lot bolder on most putts.

    Onwards & upwards!

*Memo to self ; dump the f%^%$$? handbag, Wiger. ;(

The timescale is a bit ridiculous for this, It's July so people are away on holiday...

I've shot a 56 in R1 but I'll be away and miss R2. At least make them a week each and run them between weeks so people have a chance.

To be fair the dates have been known for the past 2 months, never going to please everyone.
