Gift "BUG" ?

  I wanted to "gift" ~hpurey~ some yellow Callys for sharing & posting his Birthday saved replay in that thread. I tried, it said I didn't have enough 'dough', so I went to buy credits, $5, and it 'gave' me $50...I don't care, I'll spend it anyway, but is WGT in the habit of auto-starting at the $50 level ? Seems odd, or seems clever & cheezy. Which of the three ? And it won't let me gift the balls. Is it a "Glitch" as our mensa 'chief cook & bottle washer' calls it ? ~ SP ~

  Some of the Callies are tiered, and as a general rule of the Pro Shop, these items cannot be gifted at all if above Pro tier.

  IMHO, it's an outdated rule from the Good Olde Days when all equipment was tiered, not levelled.

  I'm sure SP was only going to gift me the non-tiered L37 ball.  (least, that is the one I would ask for anyway)   

   

  No worries SP.  I only brought it up in the Happy Bday thread to make sure you didn't get charged for the gifting but the gift not be delivered.

  I believe the $50 is a default value but you should be able to change it to any value you like. I think it's been this way for a while>?

  As for the balls, does it have a specific error message?

  It does, Icon. It states that the receipents name is missing but provides no place to type in the name. I just tried it with the Cally yellow 37 and "no dice". I then tried Nike RZN red, and again, no area to type in the name...so again, "no dice" ~ SP ~
