    Fraenkel:

Hope there will be some update before Christmas or I have to leave PING as main partner.

Hoping for something good in 2014

An update (or several) to fix all their "issues" would be warmly welcomed ...

    Bump,

Just won a set of G20's on Ebay.   Nevermind the Cally irons WGT,   get some G30's in here for our buddy David.

    :-)

    Thank you Haze.

Hope the same to for your Cally irons, feel confident mate but we should not delude ourselves for this product. They always do what they really want, for them and for us.

Would need a breath of fresh air, feel Ping entangle.

    Ok, I'm on my way.

I know I can have a quality jump on leaderboards if I will update my clubs, I know it's possible just because I'm using this middle class clubs with excellent performances, scores and wins but I want and I need to change without left PING products.

At that moment it seems not possible so, sadly, I will wait a couple of weeks yet then I'll go to reforge my clubs. At that moment too this G30's will look old so it's a very tough decision for a mediocre player like me.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    David

I know your pain . I had the same problem once because I loved the Ping line of clubs . I had the Raptures then the mid level G20s and then the 83+ G20s . But you can only go so far with them . I hated having to give them up to improve my game more and become a better player .

The plus for you is that you are at a level where the pro shop is yours for the taking . Whatever you want its yours , all of the top clubs are at your disposal . So I suggest that you go for the top shelf gear and be done with it . You can have the same meter speed  from driver to irons and wedges 3 wood included for a consistent meter . What more could you ask for other than a new set of Ping clubs .

    So keeping that in mind you cant go wrong but you will have to give up the Ping line if you want the best results .So after saying all of that I would go ;

    Big Bertha L96+ driver L 97+ 3 wood

    Nike L 100+ Irons

    L 96+ Versa putter

You can also invest in the new Cleveland wedges and have a 3.5 meter speed all the way across the board not including the putter . That will pretty much do you to level 200 by then no telling what new clubs will be added to the game . Have fun play well and good luck with your game .

It's not pain dude, it's a simple consideration to waste money for something good.

I'm no longer concerned with Callaway irons here,  I switched to Ping Irons for this upcoming season (G20's)  G25's felt good when I tried them out, but found a deal on G20's I couldn't pass up and didn't see much of a difference in them (IRL that is).

Would be cool to see them (G30's) here, with improvement this time over the G25's since they perform much better in real life, meaning a more decernable difference than that of the G25's over the  G20's.

I see myself gaming the G30's in the next season and playing the clubs here at WGT that I play in real life was always my reason behind pushing/wanting the Cally irons in the first place.  Same as the yellow cally ball,  it's what I play IRL and makes it more fun for me to play it here.

But now I'll be playing the Chrome soft yellow (yellowsoft?)  ;-)

Here's some info I found online between the G25's and G30's

    Results of our independent testing
For our testing we used our Trackman launch monitor, Bridgestone RX330 golf balls, a 6 handicap golfer that plays once a week with an above average club head speed. We compared the G25 to G30 seven iron, +1/2 inch, and two degrees upright. After a warm up period, four shots were recorded.

Baseline Data for the G25 seven iron

Club Head Speed Ball Speed Carry Distance Offline Total Distance
    86.4 mph 115.7 mph 160.1 yards 5.1 yds right 164.8 yds
    88.7 mph 115.8 mph 161.2 yards 36.3 yds left 167.4 yds
    89.1 mph 118.1 mph 169.9 yards 10.0 yds left 180.2 yds
    88.1 mph 116.4 mph 160.7 yards 14.6 yds right 165.1 yds

Next, we had our tester hit four more shots with the new G30 using the same Trackman launch monitor and golf balls. The results speak for themselves.

Data with the G30 seven iron

Club Head Speed Ball Speed Carry Distance Offline Total Distance
    89.3 mph 120.9 mph 171.2 yards 1.8 yds left 177.3 yds
    88.5 mph 118.9 mph 167.9 yards 2.0 yds right 175.1 yds
    88.5 mph 117.3 mph 181.8 yards 12.3 yds right 203.9 yds
    90.0 mph 121.1 mph 169.8 yards 16.0 yds right 175.0 yds
