When us old timers were moved up at level 35, all we had was the Tour wedges and Tour Irons and a driver that went around 245 and the starter putter with the starter ball! You guys today have it easy LOL, enjoy and have fun! Most players today do not take the time to learn the short game, sand traps, rough, mulch and all the other problems around the green and fairways.

The biggest issue I see is players staying on one course and scoring low to get to Legend status. Then the game turns into a headache!Your not going to get any new clubs that's a given.

      Good luck and have fun!

Im not suggesting clubs that make it easier, im making a sugggestion for clubs with less forgiveness to make it a bit harder. the legend clubs that we have on wgt are top quality, it just would be good to have a few legend clubs that have legend distances but with less forgiveness to make wgt a bit more interesting on some of the tighter pins and harder holes.

Marty I think using phrase like "more challenging" / "make scoring a bit harder" are confusing people.

Basically you find fast meters a bit too much to handle, and so you want a full Legend distance set but with a slower meter, and other other attributes then toned down to compensate.  You feel this would give people a chance who do not like faster meters a chance to compete, without making the game too easy for those that are OK with a faster meter.

Things like less precision don't make it harder, just makes it less precise. We already discussed that last 10% orange / red zone where if you go into that you get less forgiveness on a ding miss.  I do think the game is crying out for that, but not with a slower meter or less precision before you go in that.  Less precision in itself just serves to muddy the water not allowing skill to shine.

It would be pretty easy to drop the speed of the L79 Bladez to 3.5, lengthen the 3 iron and maybe tone down a couple of other attributes to keep them from giving too much away.

Wish you well, and just possible there is room.

thanks Jim, they could easily release a full set of rocketbladez driver -->irons with the attributes i suggested, they could be interesting clubs to use on wgt, not the best but not the worst for legends

Forgive me for being pedantic Marty.  I do contracts for a living and am as bad with my own posts reading them later after I type way too quick:

They would be easily the best slow meter alternative.

The only way to get better scoring potential would be to run the gauntlet of a faster meter set.

Like I think we agree though that last 10% orange/  red zone just keeps looking a good thing.  No way should we be able to fire in at 110% every time with nothing taken away.  For me that would really get us thinking what to do and bring back having to understand green roll for all.  Better player's would still prevail and a win for all IMHO, but what do I know.

Anyway off to find a VEM thread.  I have been playing terrible, and need to get on some band wagon blaming anything other than the possibility of me being crap.

the clubs that i suggested would have 5 more yards but still would be second best to the other slow meter clubs like the sldr driver and L85 nike irons as they have more spin and forgiveness than the ones i suggested.

we all have bad days on wgt, hang in there

edit: the irons would be 5 yards longer but the driver would be shorter than the sldr

Fair shout I was really just looking at the irons which I see as the main thing rightly or wrongly.

5 yards more than the L85 Nikes, and just a tad less precision / forgiveness with same meter hmmmmmm.  Big 5 yards, but can debate that all day I guess.  Spin wise well some play less spin anyway, but...........I hope they find the room to accommodate you:)

Thanks for the well wishes on play.  Everything seems to be breaking twice as much or I just miss......Time to give it a rest for a day or three, and have another go with a fresh look.

if the meter speed is not appealing to wgt how about a 3.3 meter speed, its between slow and fast.

    You know its kind of funny reading your thread after loolking at your clubs ;

    85+nike driver

    89+ bertha 3 wood

    85+ nike irons

    3 atv wedges

    70+ versa putter

And you use 90+ nike rzn black ball . Yet you want clubs with less forgiveness to make the game more of a challenge . You know the Rlls irons at level 90+ are just what you are looking for . Go take those for a spin and use the 33+ cally as well . You play with clubs to make game easier for you but want clubs to make game play harder for others .Do you see where I`m going with this ? Good see yah . C`mon man

    They don't know they're born do they....lol

I remember those days. The good old days! When a -8 for 18 holes was an awesome round. There were quiet a few holes where birdie was nearly impossible and you had to play for par. That was Wgt at it's best as far as i'm concerned.
