  The ball physics are horrible. The original poster here is exagerating but he is correct. The wind can be the same on 2 holes and it affects the ball completely different on each hole. You can hit driver off the tee with a 12-14mph wind in your face and the ball will fly the same distance that it does with a 2-4mph, but when the ball hits the ground the wind stops it, what a joke.

  You can hit driver on a hole with a 34' elevation drop and the ball flies the same distance as if it is on level ground.

  Side wind seems to affect a 50 yrd wedge more than any other shot in the game. Wind seems to affect pitch shots from around the green.

  I just hit an 5 iron to the green and landed it 20 yrds short of the hole. The hole was uphill 2 feet and the ball rolled 10 yrds past the hole. 

  The ball roll on the fairway is way off also. Makes it really hard to get better when the game isn't consistant.

  I'm Jealous ...  you have the Raptures that I had to sell to get a better set.  Looking back now, I wish I kept em.  My first set of irons and liked em very much... wish I had em back just to keep in the cabinet.

  You have been around for a few years, but not many rounds under ya belt and I mean no disrespect.

  The things you and the Op are saying are very common with people playing the game with not many games played.

  For everybody who reads this.... We have Legends now who are Level 50 or less. Then the probs start. Unless ya a gun restarting your profile...  a newbie at that level being a Legend is not good.  This is because We have the Clubs and Balls we can get... to move through the Tiers really easy and not learn the game like us old blokes/gals....lol

  Learn from a bad shot you all make to make it in a better shot the next time.

  If you think that every bad shot is caused by Wgt...  then ya in trouble.    Have Fun!

  Really? I just took a look at your putting stats. Not any better than mine. In fact, not as good as a few of mine. Pretty weak for someone with twice my ranked rounds. While you're rolling around on the floor, you might look around for a putting tip or two someone else has dropped. Apparently, you need them.

  I'll grant you this, yours is longer than mine (speaking of the longest putt only). Your avg putts per round is lower only cause you play much more 9 hole rounds than me. Oh yeah, and you probably sunk 3 more putts from 25+ feet. However, to compare 55% of 1 putts to 41% (of which a portion probably came from up'n'downs with your 75% GIR) and 2,4% of 3 putts or more to 6 is beyond funny or delusional. Don't get me wrong, I'm nowhere near the great putters in this game, but compared to you, oh boy... And you'll never see me claim "I'm a damn good putter", like you did on page 1. Thx for another ROFL though, i had a long day at work and I needed that ,-)

  Phsysco my friend, a #2 spin is just barley any spin at all.  U need at least a #3 and better yet a 4_ to have any real chance of stopping the ball, not to mention a "High" flight set of irons

  Yeah. Some people sure do suck at basic math, alright. Someone who has taken 8,999 putts versus someone who has only taken 4,653 putts should have perfected that part of his game by now and all his other putting stats should reflect that by being twice as good. Instead, his stats still show no significant difference. It seems to me that person would think a little harder before running his mouth. But, some people can't help themselves, especially when they're butting in on someone else's conversation. Classic troll behavior mode.

  However, to compare 55% of 1 putts to 41% and 2,4% of 3 putts or more to 6 is beyond funny or delusional.

  That's probably because all those 3 putts occurred a long time ago before I found the secret to reading these greens and that your approach shots get a little closer to the hole leaving you more gimmes, plus about half or more of my two putts are clean ups after burning the edge of the cup from farther away. Again, little to no significance. And, getting back to you sucking at basic math, (more attempts resulting in fewer two and three putts over time shrinking those percentages) I daresay that after having taken 9000 putts myself, my stats in those categories will be significantly reduced whereas yours, are still, well, none too stellar after all those attempts.(cough-cough-9000-cough-cough) I know it's got to be embarrassing to have  someone at such a lower level compare so favorably to your own stats, but it is what it is. Deal with it. Or don't. My money is on "don't".

  PsychoSid2, if you want to pm me, I have some great formulae and can't miss tips to reading the greens. The three putt will become an extinct species when you put them to use. And any long putts you miss, you wont miss by much, leaving you gimmes to clean up.
