Yoda... don't hold your breath waiting for an answer from WGT.  If you do you'll miss the Yankees winning the World Serious.

Yoda.....great ideas....but i've been here long enough now to know that it won't get any further than this forum.  A month ago i thought WGT was listening and really using the feedback(they said they were) on the forum only to see them put out a over priced useless legend ball with half the life of the one i currently use.  (never remember ANYONE suggesting a new golf ball).

Am i the only one here that thinks WGT could listen to and use player feedback.....AND STILL MAKE MONEY!!!!  :)

    good idea yoda.

and yes jcs - seems to me that WGT will provide forum responses with things like CC membership, AFTER bugs have been fixed, things like that. but i have yet to see anywhere, in any thread, where they will give us any idea of when a new course might be expected, or their thoughts on our ideas.

imo, it would be simple to implement CTTH putting challenges or add a "random hole" choice for a 9-hole CTTH challenge. several more "easy" options to enhance interest come to mind...

to WGT's credit, at least they have this thread, which is "regularly" updated. [last update was 2 months ago] -

it would definitely be nice to know about what, if any, courses and/or enhancements might be coming our way, on a monthly basis at most, ... directly from a WGT team member:)

I love the idea of a putting challenge in the multiplayer menu...not sure how they would change up the pin locations though, which is something that would definately have to be done quite regularly.  But if they aren't going to give us a practice green to putt on, this is certainly the next best thing.  As soon as they figure out a way to make money on it, im sure it will be put into place...oh wait....how can they make money on putting???

Something else that we do at the club i play at is in our big 4 day member-guest tournament for the year.  At the end of the second days play...the course superintendent goes around the front nine, moving all the holes to really messed up spots...in the middle of slopes, on the fringe, 5 feet behind traps, stuff like that....then he takes all the tee markers and moves them to even stranger places, places that you never find your self in the course of normal play, near all the greens, as to turn the front nine into all par 3's...the par 3 tourney is just as much fun as the rest of the 4 days of play, something like this would be cool to have too, although i dont think it will ever be given any thought by higher ups at WGT.

They would have to use the existing pin locations I believe.  However they can start you pretty much anywhere on the greens.

A former club that I was a member at did that with tees, pins, etc. actually had holes you had to putt with your wedge or driver, play the entire hole with a 3 iron, etc.  It was for our men's association tournies not member guest, don't think I would like it for the big tournies but it is a fun distraction.

exactly what I want, something different. They gave us blitz, but I've already played that a lot. if WGT gaves us that as CC tourney opyion that we could use once a month, that would be awesome. But once again, we are asking for the moon, and WGT can't even show us a sing that they're listening.

The putting contest would be simple to implement, especially if they vary it up from time to time. I also like the idea of a composite course for both ctth's, and strokeplay.

Yoda I love your Idea, as I am one that suffers from bad putting. Let's just hope that WGT hears our cries and help's us out for once......
