    ...playing a new course shortly...

I read it too mate, happy for that but that will be pass after a couple of months. Indeed change the pin position will be a good alternative but even in this case, why didn't have a full alternative with two (or more) links just like The Best of 18th and right, The Best of 9th.

What's the difference between rehashed actual and play daily the same course. I proposed the Best of Par 5 but maybe when I wrote this WGT had this in WIP so I'm pretty sure it can be consider a good idea just to give to the players an alternative to the usual routine links.

Pebble Beach for two, it's the final championship, should be better see it in a Par 72.

    New courses in the works:

Pebble Beach Golf Links for 18 holes of stroke play (soon - like maybe 12/10 - See WGT News - Nov. 10,  2014 Virtual Tour Championship).

Chambers Bay - 2015 US Open - March 2015 for Virtual Open Qualifying practice.

Bandon Dunes 18 holes of par 3's, but it seems something is holding Bandon Dunes up. Bandon Dunes was photographed some months before Pebble Beach was.

    Best Of Right-Hand Doglegs.

    Best Of Left-Hand Doglegs.

    Best Of Elevated Greens.

Best Of  Below the Tee Greens.

Best Of  West Of The Mississippi Golf Courses on WGT.

Best Of  East Of The Mississippi Golf Courses on WGT.

    I'd certainly enjoy a Best of 19ths.  ;-)

Yep, pretty funny....and something dealing with the Mason-Dixon, too. Aside from that, and being very ignorant about anything "computor", I don't see why a mixture, of any kind, of already completed CTTH holes could not be quickly arranged into any of the above requests....please help me understand why it is such a daunting task to do so.

In another thread, Icon or Bloshoe answered me that a combined link couldn't be possibile, I didn't remember well but I maybe asked for a country club event that can mix a stroke play and a closest to the hole play, but that's a different quest, otherwise maybe the answer is between that line. Maybe WGT cannot change a closest to the hole link in a stroke play and that's way they waste time to shot the "closest" links instead have a full coverage about the courses, shouldn't be better take first shots for stroke links instead only for a closest.

Indeed, joke apart, improve the actual links selection could be a good feature as fine as refresh the old Best of Famous and Best of Hardest courses. That wouldn't be a huge work just because technicians can use the current pars to create new fresh links.

Personal opinion, I'm not a technician so I don't know what kind of work is behind.

Part of the issue may be legal rather than technical.

WGT has to get a use license from each course it photographs. Use licensing terms may prohibit use of a course in Best Of mashups.

    In consideration of this point, it would seem to be the obvious answer....;-}

I actually don't like the best of courses.

I prefer to play a course that has the correct feel and character rather than a different look on every hole.   Playing # 1 at Beth Page and then going to St Andrews is not what I think is a true golf simulation.

Maybe I'm just old school but I would much rather see the courses play out as they should rather than be put together part by part.
