A freak shot os a glitch?

  Driving St As 1st hole into a 10-12mph wind, hit 282 driver with topspin, expecting the ball to travel approx. 290yds, leaving wedge shot to pin Imagine my amazement when the ball bounced a couple of time hopped over the burn kept bouncing though the green and eventually ended up 15yds off the green in deep rough....total distance 390yds.....it left me totally gobsmacked....so I forgot to record...  anyone any views on the cause ?...

  Hello Antwilliam. Thank you for reporting this. Were you able to submit a bug report for this matter? I've gone ahead and written this occurrence down though so I appreciate you letting us know that it happened.

  anythings possible at andies (no way a 3 wood goes 300yrds into a 20 mph wind but it will)

  I've had strange distance errors the past few days as well.

   

  My 175 yard 6 iron went 219 yards today with a slight tailwind, yesterday I lost a match because I hit my 5 iron (190 yards) less than full and it went 229 meters over the back of the green with a crosswind only.
