    I've raised this with support, but I doubt I will get anything other than the standard response.

    I get this problem both before and after clearing all my browser and flash data, so that isn't it. The problem has been happening just the past 2 or 3 days.

    For example, I hit a CG wedge with yardage of 60 yards 80 yards, with a slight tailwind and had it set to slight forward spin. I've never hit this club more than 70 yards, even with a gale at my back. Another example: today I hit a 6 iron with yardage max of 175 yards or meters, 209 yards/meters, with a tailwind. Normally even with a 30mph tailwind, I only get 10 or 15 yards extra - this was to an elevated green. A couple of days ago I hit a 5 iron (190 yards distance) to about the 180 mark with a dead-set crosswind and it went 219 yards. My 175 6 iron has on more than one occasion gone nearly 215 to 220 distance, and I can hit my 5 iron further than I could my 3 iron in the past few days, but it only does it from time to time.

    I know the courses pretty well, I am used to judging for the wind and elevated greens etc, but in the past few days, on many occasions I am getting 30 to 40 meters extra distance than normal.

    While there is VEM with all it's variance, I have a distant suspicion that the clubs may have changed unknowingly.

    60 => 80 yds wedge, 175 => 200 yds iron and so forth.

    It happens sometimes, I had it, too, either by inadverted mousewheel moves or - guessing - by program glitches.

    The game goes on, life continues - don't bother too much!

    I've had a few come up a club length short lately, and others a club length long. Never more than that.

    yep, ongoing modifications..as noted in T&C

    WGT provides dynamic environments for virtual sports game play. You acknowledge and agree that that in the course of providing this dynamic environment, WGT will, without providing notice, be making ongoing modifications and improvements to the Applications, Game Software and/or to the App Software from time to time in the course of the operation and development of the Site and/or Application(s). Such changes may affect the performance and interaction of individual components of the games, performance of virtual items, contests and challenges available on the Site and/or through the Application(s).

    In addition, you agree that WGT retains the sole and unfettered right to change, remove or modify the available virtual items from time to time (which may among other things make one or more virtual items more or less effective or functional, more common or less common, or eliminated entirely). You may not use, distribute, develop, promote or facilitate use of cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software designed to modify the WGT game experience to the detriment of fair play.

    Thanks alosso.

    Fortunately the issue seems to have disappeared again.

    And I do realise their is VEM and variation in shots, randomization etc. But, and I'm sure most would agree, if you rely on certain clubs going a certain distance, and they all of a sudden go crazy and unpredicatable, then even if WGT reserves the right to do this, then all I can say is it isn't worth spending the heaps of money like I've spent, on better clubs.

    I also noticed with a mixture of amusement and frustration two shots that ended up in the water because the amount of left to right deviation "suddenly" increased a lot more than normal.

    But your right. Oh well, cut your losses - still enjoy the game!
