I think the subject title pretty much covers it. I have seen many other people post the same sort of complaint. You think you've completed a survey, the classification questions have kicked in...then you get the "Sorry you don't qualify" type message and get a whopping 5 credits. Sigh. That just ain't right.

Come on, can't the companies offering the surveys be informed that they should be able to tell WAY earlier during the survey process if a participant meets the qualifications they are looking for?

I don't mind at all getting the "sorry you don't qualify" messages, as long as they are BEFORE YOU "COMPLETE" THE SURVEY!

Happens to me a lot..  You just have to know what answers they're looking for, and lie if you have to.  :)

I've got to the point where I'm relieved to see the landing page and get 5 credits early on.  Compared to the carousel it's a great rate of pay.

My personal worst was a survey that I had spent about 20 minutes on, was something like 97% complete and then the bar stewards decided I didn't fit the profile and booted me.

I'm still trying to find out exactly which medical conditions will let you qualify for surveys.  I've had the lot, from acne to yellow fever and still fail to qualify.

Again, happens to me a lot.. Then sometimes, I'll see the exact same survey later on.. Like, getting me one time wasn't enough.. lol

One of life's great mysteries... :)

In fours years of WGT, I have had one survey offered - I got 70 or 75 credits. I have had no credits offered via vids except the carousel.

So in comparison, 5 credits is a better return than many of us.

Regardless, 10 minutes for 5 credits is a poor waste of my time, easier to open my wallet.

Oddly enough, I just finished sending a complaint to Peanut Labs. On a survey that took twenty minutes and asked specific questions to be rated about my health insurance as well as health insurance in general. Far more than just screening.

I got a screen shot of the progress bar at 100%.

    We'll see.

Alanti, I'm surprised to read that. One survey offered in four years? Something's wrong there. I have never been able to qualify or complete ANY survey that would pay over 120 credits though.

I've never opened my wallet once., I guess I've made about 4-5,000 credits, based on the equipment I have and balls I've used credits to buy. So it's not like the entire survey experience has been bad.

But it sure is frustrating to think you've qualified for 75-120 points only to end up getting 5. I just think the WGT people should be more active in dealing with this sort of thing. They tell you to contact the survey company - yeah good luck with that. Tried twice and both times got "Sorry, we have no record of your survey". They make it sound like you're lying.

LMAO at the medical conditions that many of us apparently have. :')

    We'll see.

So, here's my complaint in their acknowledgement email. Sorry for the resize dithers, but still readable. (Could I have been more gracious?)

What I got was the following canned response which, of course, completely ignored the fact that I knew I'd been 'disqualified.' Note that it's from a 'do not reply' account. Certainly seems they don't want to be bothered by the facts.

In the email there was a link to my complaint record. Wonder of wonders, no matter what I do I can't access it. Attempting to re-address the problem from the surveys page, resulted in them telling me to check my email. Good old Catch 22. By changing the complaint type to 'other' I was able to send the following.

    Text copy:

Your response from a 'do not reply address was unsatisfactory. Please refer to ticket

    Transaction: 454438103

I am unable to login to respond via your routine. Neither, the Google nor Yahoo paths worked. This is in regards to the email message I received regarding the original complaint.

Okay. This looks like a canned response.

Maybe someone would kindly look at the original complaint. I started out by saying that I knew I was 'disqualified.' The disqualification was only after what certainly seemed to be a full survey.

No mention of my screen shot of 100% completed.

I'm reporting on this on the forums and keeping records for possible complaint to WGT.

Not a threat. Just the reality. We are very much tired of these rip offs.

    ---

    I'll keep yall posted.

That's the same survey that led me to start this thread! It was about insurance, and mostly health insurance. I've given up on writing to the surveyors (surveyors? lol) cause I have gotten the same type answers. That don't address the subject and are from "don not reply" addresses. Thanks for the "customer service".

So...should we be telling the WGT people? I guess why bother cause after all, they would rather have you buy credits than earn them taking surveys.

A recent response from WGT after a complaint of spending 20 minutes doing a survey and being kicked out on the last question, was. The information given will not be used as the survey was not completed. As if I cared about that, it's wasting time for no reward that was my complaint.
