August Single Play Uneven Lies 18

    Right in the middle of my round here which I was doing quite well too (-8 on the 14th hole), I get an announcement saying 'This tournament is no longer active'. Maybe it is a glitch, so I restart the browser - same thing happens. Then after a few tries I get the forfeit game message. And now it says I have forfeited?

    Needless to say a bit disappointed in not finishing the round as I played 13 holes without losing a ball LOL.

    Check the time - probably it was over for the tournament.

    Then, call yourself lucky that you were informed on the spot - in former times the time check would only be with the last putt/shot. Thus it saved you four holes...

    gary played the august single play UL 18 - thats the current august monthly tournament.

    surely it wouldnt have timed out after 7 days into the month.

    no word from the mods regarding a bug?

    why bother submitting reports when no one reads or acknowledge it at the very least?

    this is a bug that occurred during a current tournament. 

    having someone time out during a round in a current event would be disconcerting, no?

    guess its only the uneven lies monthly tourney so why bother right?

    the level of apathy astounds me.

    i have seen many responses by wgt mods over the last 2 weeks - why hasnt anyone bothered to respond here?

    hmm

    I am pretty sure I replied to this... maybe in my mind i did. Weird. I clearly remember checking when I first saw it then.

    As far as I know, I do not know why it happened nor I remember others reporting anything similar on monthly's. It does happen on rg/cc tourney if you miss deadlines but that's usually due to much shorter deadlines/happens after you hit last shot of the round.

    here, I have no idea how/why it happened nor I have a way of replicating it.
