I don't miss the NFL in L.A. one bit. I do have good personal memories of one incident, though, when they were here. Henry Ellard made a promotional appearance at the Carl's Jr. in Covina, signing autographs and visiting with people. He spent a good 10-15 minutes at the end speaking one-on-one with my 8 year old son stressing the importance of school, sticking with what you start and setting goals. He really made an impression.
