It was pretty scary where we are, 40-odd miles away.
My wife and I woke at around 3:30am to the house shaking and the strangest whooshing noise, but our boys managed to sleep through it. There was no obvious sign of damage but I can tell you it was hard to get back to sleep. That's the first quake I've ever experienced (at least that I could feel), and I can tell you it's very unnerving.
I can only imagine what it was like at the epicenter. I hope everyone is OK.
