Apart from the CC walk through thread briefly describing some elements of creating a club, is there a topic anywhere or information on how to actually create a club.

I'm in one at the moment and may have to shut it down and migrate to a new one as our owner has disappeared . I'd like to find out about the owners tools ( just mentions them briefly in the new layout ) ,if the credit costs are up to date for membership totals etc, etc

If I click "create a club " all it says is that " you're already a member of a club". Seems a bit odd  if you have to quit first ( which would be terminal as I wouldn't be able to re-enter being ownerless ) to just find out about it or am I missing something.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Hello AK. I think you have to leave that club and start a new one.If you can find the owner he can make you the new owner.Again I think this is how it's done. If your looking for a new club The Leftovers are looking for new members. We only ask that you play one (1) CC tournament a week. We also have a guild team on wgtls site. If interested in joining send a request and I will invite. Schmayman

You can't be in two clubs at once. More details about starting clubs in the FAQ's-->

There aren't that may tools to be honest, i wouldn't worry about them. If you can't contact the owner to get him to transfer ownership to you the only option is to quit the club and start your own, make a note of the members and invite them all to your new CC. You are more than welcome to 'friend' me and i'll help you all i can.

    Hi AK.

We, ie UK Golfers Elite, were in exactly the same position a few months ago.

Since then, we have re-formed as a new CC, and are now going from strength to strength.

Our CC has been created in such a way, that this situation can never happen again, and it is now run by a small committee, rather than one member.

Drop me a friend request if you'd like chapter and verse on what we did, and I'll PM you with details.

Good luck - I know exactly what you're going through.

    Steve

edit: the costs you ask about have now been done away with by the new CC Levelling Up process - maximum number increases as the CC gains XP, so if you start over, you will be forced to start small, with a max of 15 members; it's pretty easy to get the next couple of levels though, and you'll soon find yourselves with a 50+ capacity.
