If you would only stay ON TOPIC then you wouldn't be consider a s-*t disturber, a troll, a ,,,,well you get my point. Stop trying to be something you're not and give some input on THE TOPIC.

You are replying to the thread topic "VEM" complaining about game inconsistencies and then claiming you are not talking about VEM.

Who is off topic and the troll here?

Sry, Paul, but I have to agree with over on this one. That is what just about anyone on the net means when they call someone a Troll. It's a person who rarely posts something relevant to the topic of a thread. Instead, they seem to choose several people they don't agree with or like what they have to say, for whatever reasons, and they "troll" around waiting for one of their targets to say anything they can jump on.

It only has ever really bothered me when, as just happened, something is taken out of context and responded to the same way. Out of context. I blame the formats such as email, texts, or posts in forums mostly, but I'm starting to think the internet has been around long enough now to where it's time to start calling people out for picking one sentence out of a post and attacking over it.

I believe we've all done it at some point, but I think we all should try harder to ask exactly what a person means by what they write before slamming them over it. Just gets people worked up, wastes time & space, and frankly isn't a very respectful way to have a discussion, debate, or even an argument.

What really gets me is how cruel, mean, & flat out nasty some folks can get through this medium, which I'm guilty of as well, but most of them would never say certain things that they do if the person they're addressing was standing in front of them. The internet gave a bunch of people huge balls, as long as they're looking at only a monitor.

Okay, I'll shut up now. : - )

And, MB, I think you may have a point there, but I haven't read the entire exchange so not saying more than that. I will say, even with the few off-topic posts, this is the best thread I've seen yet on the topic of the V word. Sure seems to keep going anyway, and there have been some very well explained ideas on it and, for the most part, it's actually been a discussion which is what I've been waiting to see.

So, thanks to all who have given their input, thoughts, and ideas on that insanely provoking 3 letter acronym.

Not once do I mention the word VEM. This is exactly how others post get totally misconstrued. Again,,,WTF!

TROLL ALERT!!!!!! They are out in full force tooooday!

So you shoot a 71 at BPB because of the inconsistencies, but yet you say you're not blaming VEM? Inconsistencies are part of the game in every round and is how this game works.

Why complain about what the game is already doing in every round?

I could, obviously, be wrong here, but everything you said, basically contradicts your conclusion. If you only 'messed around' for a few years there is no reason at all you should have improved much over that time period, regardless of equipment. In fact, not being able to get better equipment, if available then, would serve only to ensure you wouldn't see much improvement.

If you read the post I responded to he mentioned that the members who have been here a long time didn't have to put up with VEM when tiering up, and suggested it might be harder to do now, the point is you can't go by a members sign up date, I and others registered a long time ago but didn't try to tier up...

You couldn't take the game very serious when I signed up, you couldn't get in the flow of the game 90% of the time because the meter was worse, if the site was even a little busy it would take 2-5 minutes to get the next hole to load or you were kicked off, the graphics were not near as good as they are now...you would click to swing at a shot, freeze, next screen you were standing over the 3rd shot...as time went on it got better, but if it still played like it did 5-6 yrs ago there wouldn't be 10 million registered members like they claim, 1 million maybe...lol...

this game is 10x's better now as far as gameplay goes....you don't see many guys complaining about VEM who were here in 08-09, this is great compared to the old days...

Yes! TX Shady. Troll: _____ . If I would have gave this definition, it too would have been taken out of context. There are 3 in this thread. Oh wait! Heres one now,,,LOL!

Take a look at the past 4, 5 pages or so.

Considering we all go out in front of a firing squad when we even mention this awful 3 letter word - VEM, yes, this has been an awesome thread we soem very good feedback. AND, this thread has held its ground for nearly 40 pages,,,lol.
