Acca, there was a post made by WGT a while back indicating they were going to be introducing new branded equipment. It would be cool to have some X22 irons. I guess these things take time.

    BTW, nice clubs.  : )

The main thing is getting Callaway or any other company to join Taylor Made and Ping as sponsors. The only branded clubs that are available to use in the game are from the  sponsors,Taylor Made and Ping, Lynx was avialable until the last big update. As was snake eye wedges. Neither seems to be available anymore.

Perhaps you could e-mail Callaway suggesting that they sponsor WGT. Who knows it might work. Wouldn't hurt to try. It didn't help with the company that makes the Hammy putter I use in real golf but at least I tried. They were only willing to post a link to WGT on their main site if WGT did the same on here. I e-mailed them a second time explaining that it envolved a sponsorship that would give the Hammy much greater visibility than would otherwise be impossible. The company owner/president e-mailed be back stating if I wasn't actually a officer of WGT not to bother him or his company again. Not too smart IMO but hey I only use his putter and am not trying to sell them.

That's a pretty cool story Sting. It appears the Hammy President is only worried about making a deal with a WGT administrator though. I think WGT should consider all branded options. It's a win-win for both companies IMO. I may try writing Callaway and see what happens.

I gave him all the pertinent information on who to contact at WGT. Including both the e-mail and snail mail addresses. That is when he told me if I was not an official with WGT not to bother him again. He was just too shortsighted to see how much becoming a sponsor of WGT would help his company. Either that or he wanted WGT to come begging him to sponsor them and I don't see that happening.

Hey Born... send another email to Hammy.  Tell them I will never buy one of their clubs if they are that lacking in customer sensitivity.  What meatheads!

If Eli was still alive, it would already be a done deal.

Hey SweetiePie, you must have just got in from a round of golf with the new clubs, after a brief refresher at the 19th hole.

LOL! The 19th was needed. Fired off a dandy 87...3 jiggled the last two greens...still fun..I think.

If i hadn't found that putter used in a local golf store for $40 I wouldn't have even known about them. That shows how much they need the exposure that WGT could give them. And I sure wouldn't have paid $200 for an unknown putter. Which is what they sell for through their web site. But after using it for 3 years i will never go back to a conventional putter. It does look weird putting with a wide open stance and a split grip that puts your hands almost 2 feet apart but as it says on the putter,  makes putts . makes sense.
