I don't play multi much at all, anymore, but the other day I accepted a stroke play w/ my friend (tour master) and another player (legend) and I was shooting a nice game, which was a surprise, and at #8 the legend, disappointed with his game,  said he would leave, and my friend the TM said 'Are you going to forfeit?', but he disconnected without an answer, and we waited in the lobby, the legend never joined back to the game, so we finished without him. I won by 4 strokes.

I'm not savvy on all the technical aspects but did the legend gain from not forfeiting, and/or did I lose the possibility of some sort of accolade if I would have beat the legend?

No big matter but I was curious.

    sargexuk:

Agree with you! played with 2 guys they both let themselfs timed out because of bad play and on the final score they were the winners......I finished the round even yet I was the loser!

I had posted on this issue earlier but WGT does not seem to care, I think its time for me to quit and keep my money!.....

When we play ranked stroke play with others we don't win or lose a game. There's no record of winning any ranked stroke play multi-player games. We're just playing concurrently together on the course. If one or all of the other players quit, it's meaningless. The reason the quitter is shown as a winner is because the game program only counts strokes taken. You didn't  lose and they don't win.
