    WGT / Modulator,

I do not know if other players are having this issue, but the swing meter (Swing Buddy)  I use is very inaccurate.  At the start of round it is very smooth and quite accurate, but as I continue with the round it begans to drag and sputter.  This in turns causes bad shots/putts that really screw up my game.  My system is working fine, I have began to update equipment to include balls but the problem continues.  Can this be overcome without spending a ton of money, or am I stuck?

    Thanks

If the swing meter is not smooth on your computer it is likely because:

    1. Your computer CPU is busy during the down swing. Check this out - Smooth Meter. You want your CPU to be as inactive as possible during the down swing.

    2. You may need to clear out the Flash Player Website Privacy Settings panel. It is best if that panel has zero web sites listed.

dear wgt its the swing meter , i have problems matching up where the ball lands in relation to where the ball ends up . for example i hit a perfect 15 ft putt ,where i hear diiing ,then it bounces another 5 ft from the cup i thought it ment if it dings the ball should fall in . how is it expected to be perfect if it wont fall on a perfect putt ,and ive had issuse where the meter automatically moves the ball without cklickng the mouse this game is bugged ,i love the game but i swear to you if its not improved and bugs fixed i will quit.

The meter firing on its own is not a WGT bug! It is your wornout mouse or if you use a wireless mouse it is the workout almost dead batteries. Get a good mouse or replace the batteries in your wireless mouse and problem solved. A wornout mouse can cause all kinds of erratic meter problems. From the meter not firing at all to what many of us call false clicks where the worn contacts lose contact with each other just long enough for the game to read it as a click. And as often as we click and hold the mouse button here it doesn't take long for even the most sturdily built mouse to wear out.

As far as dings  go ,that only means you clicked the mouse at the mid point of the meter. Only if your speed and direction are right will the putt fall. That is only common sense. A poorly aimed putt hit too easily or too hard will not fall even if you  do hit the ding. This isn't some arcade type game where all you have to do is hit the ding to get a perfectly struck shot that goes into the hole. If it was like  that winning the Virtual U.S.Open would mean nothing!

You can't be serious with what you just said.  Let me get this correct, you think that if you ding the putt it is supposed to go in the hole!
