Obnoxious start up ads

  Is there any way to stop that obnoxious Porsche ad that has the auto drop down feature when you first open the WGT main page?

  Is the ad taking over the entire screen? If so can you tell us which browser it is doing that in?

  Why even open the main page? I have my browser set up to open the game client page as soon as it loads. I rarely if ever open the main page. 

  Not sure if it will help but you could try adblock or adblock plus. I know that they block ads during the game on the scorecard and will probably block the ones on the main page as well.

  It doesn't take over the entire screen, it just pushes the sign in screen down enough to where you have scroll back to complete sign in. It closes by itself but takes several seconds to do it. It has been doing it for about 1 1/2 months and is always an ad for Porsche.

  They need you to tell them WHAT BROWSER YOU USE.

  It will do it in either Chrome, Firefox, or IE. It typically happens when I sign on a second time in one day, the first sign in doesn't seem to have the drop down Porsche ad.

  Owners spend ages trying to get people to enter through the club page. In my opinion it should be the only way.

  Just to confirm the ad is supposed to do the drop down. There are no bugs or issues with it at this time. By viewing these ads you help support the site. You should see an X in the top right hand corner when the ad does drop down. This will return it back to its original placement.
