Circle of Precision,and Forgiveness

  Please don't wonder of topic, is the circle theory true are just an assumption.  Something has to determine the range of precision with these irons ,I just want to know what it is.

   

  there is a thread about it somewhere will try to dig it up bro but it doesn't say how big it really is though

  You all are forgetting about the precision tests done by bhoese on the Nike, R11 and Max mid-irons!

  To summarize briefly his results:

  Dinged shot carry distance variance  Front-To-Back and Left-To-Right

                         FTB             LTR

  Max iron     22 feet        16 to 17 feet

  R11 iron    22 feet         13 to 14 feet

  Nike iron   16 feet               6 feet

  More like an Oval of Precision I'd call it.

  Keep in mind the tests were done on a limited number of shots so the results are not statistically carved in granite.
