    http://www.wgt.com/replay.aspx?ID=e7d2b34f-6c31-423b-9268-a3a9004431a2

got this earlier and was told i got a free drop as it was an immovable object.

so i lose a shot and end up having my 3rd shot as the 4th

what happened to the 'free drop'?

reason why i ended up there was because it was an uneven lies tourney and i was in 40/50 ruff with a red square with an impossible right to left lie. hit 100 cleveland flat and soehow it flew to the shed.

I suppose that you were presented a second shot from the same position? Apparently, this was your "free drop".

This is not a legal option of release from an immovable object. The shot should be from the next point of release (NPR), close to the object itself, or as it lies. Same for GUR situations. Then you might choose an unplayable lie IRL, but this choice isn't available here.

Both situations are not treated correctly by the game at some locations, e.g. STA#17 to the right of the green. WGT rather uses drop points suitable to water hazards, e.g. a shot repetition.

They have made it clear that such flaws will not be corrected any time soon. At least, it applies to ev1 in the same manner.

    Have fun!

point is it should be a free drop ie not incurring a penalty shot.

as it is now a  free drop is the same as hitting out of bounds without losing a ball.

if i get a  free drop and get placed in the same position as my original shot i dont mind.

just a bit lame to lose a shot.

It could be worse had it happen to me and lost a ball on a so called free drop lol
