CTTH 30 Yards on 9 Holes = Impossible without...

  Seriously, over a 2 day period the player posted 43 CTTH rounds, (only 4 were over 90 feet).

  At 10 minutes/round thats more than 7 hours straight playing CTTH without shooting and restarting any rounds

  And the player shot NINE 18 hole rounds, averaging low, low 60s.  So add another 9 hours playing time. And there was a single 9 hole round thrown in for good measure.

  Roughly 16 hours of playing time over a 2 day period while shooting lights out scores.

  And you call it borderline OCD?? LMAO!

  This obviously rules out the possibility that he was quitting over and over and over again, dozens and dozens of times for each round that was actually posted.  He wouldn't have had the time to do so.

  Another proof of that is that WGT obviously does not believe that to be the case, seeing as he is now banned.

  I'm going to play the CM CTTH 20 times, and we're going to see what is and is not possible.

  First try: 123.34
  AVG DTP: 13.7 ft

  Let's see how much better I can do.  I wonder if I'm going to match Legend999's 41.57.  (LMAO.)

  Second try: 61.24
  AVG DTP: 6.8 ft

  My best CTTH ever, by a large margin -- I believe roughly 20 ft.  Amazingly enough, the score managed to fetch me 2nd place.  I'm only 2nd by a margin of 47%... so close!  (LOL.)

   

  Okey... I'm bored after 6.  My scores were:

  123.34
  61.24
  79.12
  61.72
  69.25
  106.58

  Average: 83.5

  And CM was the easiest CTTH course that I've ever played, by a lot.

  I haven't played CTTH for 6 months but a good start would be to match my 104 aces there.

  I can't explain Bolly's dominance in stroke play competitions since he seems to be able to win almost anything.  My average since late-September has been significantly better than his, but I still fully believe that he is the better player.  He somehow finds a way to win, and I don't know how he does it.  He is definitely not a 63-AVG player.  I'm a 60-AVG player, and he is undoubtedly better than I am.

  As far as the CTTH competitions go, I know he does those repeatedly... over and over, dozens and dozens of times.  He doesn't win them the 1st-10th time he plays them... I've seen him do a single CTTH competition like 100 times.  I don't play CTTH very often, so I have no idea what is possible.  Maybe some CTTH courses are easier than others, but I think the best I've scored on a CTTH is ~80.  He might get good finishes in of CTTH competitions, but we're not talking about single-play tournaments.  He plays them over and over again, and he's one of only a few of the elite players that really does that.   I didn't see anyone else try the Celtic Manor CTTH Challenge, but I saw him do it ~100 times.  His excellence there is due in part to his skill, but also in part to the effort he puts in.  How someone can consistently win single-play stroke tournaments, though, I have no idea.

  That said, I don't care to complain about how good he is, but I don't like it when a single person seems to be the only one that can win any prize that is actually worth something.  All I'd like to get out of WGT is a new set of golf clubs.  I have no plans to attempt to win a dozen vacations to go golfing or watch PGA (or LPGA) Tour events.

  As far as andyson's post goes, I haven't played that CTTH before.  Is it easier than the others?  If not, I can't explain how someone could produce sub-60 scores consistently.

  ...the score didn't end up being great, but it was because "the beast" came out of nowhere on the 8th hole.  this was a year ago not long after i joined.

   

  and i was using starter clubs.

  the point is, they are the same shots over and over again, and once you learn the slopes of the greens and how the elevations factor in, it's just a matter of gauging the wind and putting a good swing on it.

  I'd ask if you wanted to play ten 1,000-credit MPC matches, but seeing as how you're a TM that tees off from the ladies' tees, you might actually win some of them.  When/if you make legend, I'd be happy to let you test out how good you are.

  The amazing 7 shots on that scorecard were pure luck, plain and simple.  So miraculous, it was, that you felt obligated to tell everyone about it.  The guy from the front page, whose score history andyson posted a screenshot of, shoots below that score on a very consistent basis.  Do you really think your best score ever (or one of them) is a relatively bad round for any non-cheater?

  Compare that to your 9-hole record, which is 27.  Is there any player out there for which a 27 is an average or even a bad score?  Not even close.  My AVG might be 59.XX, but that's after WGT throws out my 4 worst scores.  In reality, my average for 9 holes is about 31, and I don't even play STA B9, Oakmont, or KIA F9, which are the hardest 9-hole rounds.  If I played those often, my AVG, with the bad 4 rounds included, would hover around 66.  Nobody legitimately shoots 26 regularly, just like nobody legitimately shoots CTTHs with an average score of ~53.

  I really don't think Name calling like "Idiot" is needed here.

  But it seems to be the American (and some other Countries) way. I say that, because I am on many Sites and mostly the Name Calling comes from Americans/Australians and a few other Countries. The "Superior Nations????".

  Well to be honest, I rather be in a 3rd or 9th World Country where Name calling on the Internet is still a No No! Respect others and their opinions. Not everybody in the World thinks like you do and is entiteled to make their thoughts clear.

  Now to get back on Topic: Those who say it is Possible! Go and Play 50 to 100 CTTH's on Bethpage and finish all rounds so that we can see it is possible.

  (But: If you have a Hack for the Program and you Post, you are only fooling yourself and making yourself feel worth something. )

  Feel free to attack me, which I know some will do. I frankly don't give a Damn! 

  I KNOW there's a Hack for the Game out there.

  BTW: Replace the Word DING with 9 'PERFECT' shots, on I think it was 7 Different Courses.  

  Cheating in any Game: Does it make you feel good about yourself???? If so, I pity you!!!!

  sorry, but charlemange is an idiot in any language :)

   

  CTTH is an unlimited play format, so who cares what you average score is?  i don't think anyone is claiming that every round they shoot is <50.  all you have to do is card ONE good score.  it's the same as an unlimited stroke play tournament.  if someone wins it with a 26 on 9 holes, do you consider them "lucky" if they don't average a 26 every time they play?  of course not.  your claim that anyone who scores well in CTTH challenges is either lucky or cheating is insulting to those who have put in a lot of time (and credits) playing them, learning the shots, and executing them.
