From the reverse view angle it appears that it floats over the hole, but from regular view you can see that the ball rolled right beside the hole.  I putt in reverse view, and have had that happen to me many times!!

Look at the ball not the white line it leaves, it often goes in the hole, while the ball goes just wide, guessing they made that line a bit too fat.

Replays are just animation, they're not actually interacting with the 'game client' or working with the visuals you see. That's just for you to watch.

The game is based on point reference and applied variables within that 'action', your shot, everything else is just stuff to look at.

Watching replays is just for entertainment, you can't use it as an analytical tool. I mean you can for really obvious stuff, like those low hanging branches you didn't see while shooting, you may see in another view in a replay and go "Oh, ya.. k... won't do that again" That's about it.

In saying .... if the 'flag' has animations... How come the girl's skirts don't?
