New Feature Coming... CC Clashes

  More to the point 338 posts I have made and still each one is moderated, surely by now someone somewhere can make a decision,am I going to be a problem or not come on guys make a decision, this is not my first post or second this is my 340th

  As a Georgian member I can agree with alot of whats been said.

  MY view  is that the prizes are not only too few--but doesn't give the top 50 a real prize just for a good finish.

  Out of the thousands of CC's that compete--a top 50  finish should deserve rewards and respect.

  Our CC is committed to put a GP in every members bag  that desires one. This  is what drives The Georgian CC to winning every Clash. 

  We  have  members who turned the GP down soo others could benefit. 

  The GP and ALL these prizes are Virtual-- meaning they are nothing but a software program.    It costs WGT nothing to award them. 

  That being said--why not give some better rewards for our winners and top 50 CC's?

  I would love to see the winner awarded several GP's -2nd thru 10th place a single         GP and a sleeve of balls.EACH PLAYER.   

  10th place and up gets a sleeve of  good balls for each member that scores above 500 points and so on..etc.

  Instead  of changing up everything--just  give out more and better prizes.  It costs you nothing--and would increase participation greatly.

  What are Club Clashes?

  Club Clashes pit one country club against another for a limited time, during which the members in each club attempt to earn the highest number of points for their club. Members score points by playing as many of the specified game type(s) on the featured course(s) as possible during the Clash. The club with the highest combined score at the end of the Clash wins that Clash and earns an additional Win Bonus that is added to the club's total points for the event to determine the rewards.

  am i right in thinking it's just a case of keep playing the courses and types of games over and over to attain points.

  if thats the case ,it's not a "clash" of CC's just a unlimited comp where the CC that plays the most wins.

  hope i've misunderstood

  I wished it would be where people play against each other like in { find a game} you click on play a cc match and then it auto takes you to another member wanting to play and you to play then that cc gets the points for the win, and not have it based on how many games played, after all , you can have anyone play, I hope this is not happening but it would cut that idea out.

  The answer to that is basically in one word YES, funny enough though in accordance with the rules of the competition the club that scores the highest points does not always win the match.

  Because before the match winner is declared the individual that earns the highest points gets a 100 point bonus.

  So what can and does happen is

  Team 'A' scores 2005 points and team 'B' scores 2100 points So to all extent and purpose Team 'B' is the winner

  Except that team 'A' had the individual who scored the most points in the match so he gets awarded 100 extra points.

  Now it reads Team 'A' 2105 Team 'B' 2100

  Winner now team 'A' add 500 more points for winning

  Final result Team 'A' 2605 Team 'B' 2100

  Work that one out, but they are the rules and we play by them

  Great Idea Vic but be careful as that could be seen as heresy In your CC & I might not hear from you again so miss my chance to pit my wits against you again

  One word of warning, although I also enjoy these games where you can play 3 perfect strangers, watch and check the set up first before accepting. A few weeks ago I failed to do that and joined in a game with a 90 second shot clock.

  I play reasonably quickly 30 seconds is more than enough for me, but the other three players were using up almost all 90 seconds each time.

  We reached the turn in 2 hours 15 minutes, nobody was responding to messages or saying thank you for good shot comments, all were from English speaking countries.

  I am sorry to say I gave up and left the game after another hour of play took us to the the tee of the 14th,

  I could not bear the though of another 2 or more hours of play playing one shot every 5 to 7 minutes or so.

  So thats my warning check the game set up before accepting, unless of course you like that type of game.
