    Slojoeguam:

It's in my post WGTadmin, Augusta National CC. PS - Upon further scrutiny, it looks like not all their players are playing best of putting, only the ones with the crazy high scores. So how can some members play one thing and other members of the same CC play another?

I looked through a few players in that Club and did not see any scores from the Best of Putting. Can you send me a private message and provide the player names of those that played the Best of Putting? Also, how did you determine that these players were playing Best of Putting for the Clash and not just a regular game? Were you just looking at their Score History?

Thank you very much for the help.

Exactly. They played a regular Best of Putting game using CC Pass and get event points.

WGTadmin, do you communicate with WGTadmin2 at all? :)

Seriously, you need have those invalid points throw out before determining winners.

    WGTadmin2:

    - We have a few bugs around using passes and also giving event points when using a pass even when you did not play in the event.  We will be fixing these and if you did not get points or had pass issues contact us for some free passes

Of course we communicate. I was asking questions so as to gather more information for our QA team and engineers. It could be an issue with players collecting Points in game or it could be something different. Just trying to gather as much data as possible.

We apologize for the issues in this release and will diligently work to resolve these bugs. Your patience is very appreciated.

In the future you will get a lot more notice on when an Event will happen...

How about in the future, you share what is being developed with the WGT community to get first hand feedback before you roll out a flawed product.

WGT rolls out these half baked features that don't work or simply just disappoint most players.

zag: There's a CTTH points scheme given in the FAQs =>

where the Putting CTTH might grant very high scores.

    DA: The FAQs =>
give 100 points to the highest scoring player. Thus Tees win 361 vs. 301 and get 500 win bonus => 861 in total.

    WGTadmin2:
Sorry for the bugs and thanks for playing

While you are at it, do you feel like apologising for WGT's blatant attempt at extorting your users?

The fact you will invariably pay to play (via a pass) and increased ball usage yet give vitually nothing back is a joke.

The fact you once again release something that a 5 year old would have foressen as poorly thought through speaks volumes about your development team.

The fact you have not fully tested the release for the numerous bugs yet again speaks volumes about your engineers.

Another monumental FAIL WGT. This has been greed personified.

The sad thing is, and hasn't been mentioned in this thread, is the wrong CC is going to get the "Gold Putter".

WGT, in fairness, can not give the "Gold Putter" away until this CC vs CC Event feature is fixed. Then all participating Clubs can have another go at the "Gold Putter" with a model that works fair for all CC.

Where's Chad? What does he think about all this? His name is all over this debacle.

    WGTdbloshoe:
Is it only their best round that counts or best score (points) gained at a hole from all their tries??

HI there WGTdbloshoe ,  Please receive my questions as politely asked as intended .

    1ST Let me ask , a

Are you WGTdbloshoe the official answer person for the W.G.T. , You seem to be ..

2nd ques.  I have read everything offered by the WGT announcement of cc v cc  clashes and still can't find any of the locations to register the CC i belong to - for any such event nor are there any really good instructions for doing so in view of there being no such place on my CC's Home Page on which to click on to enter a CC Clash , and I have no idea where to locate Game Client as yet another way to register the CC I belong to .

3rd Because no criteria has been given let me ask ...Are Super Passes rationed by a formula - such as 1 per every  40  members of a CC's total membership .

4th My most important question ...  If I  ( only a moderately skilled Legend )  enter 1 single Clash of the 4 by paying for a .pass  ( presumably 37 cents )  Does that limit me to only 1 single 9 hole round of the competition or can I play the entire 6 hours of that 1 Clash  on  the 1 single 37 cent pass which I payed for , or must I buy more passes for each round of the 1 single Clash that I entered ....

5th  I have read that each of the WGT CC Clashes consist of 4 ,... 1 round events of 6 hours each .... over 24 hours or is it 48 hours  ,,, 2 Clashes in each 24 hour period .

6th  Most Important ....  I can not determine yet how any members total points are added up after entering and playing as many rounds as possible in a single 6 hour Clash .  Does the WGT reward the avid player who plays 12  rounds in the 6 hour period with as many points as She or He can accumulate all combined -- that seems fair to me . especially if a player only needs to pay for 1 single pass for the entire single Clash .

6B  Super Passes  for Double Points then should then be only issued to players who are not only skillful but can play the full 6 hours and accumulate more points than the player who may only play 2 or 3 rounds .... would that then be true .

WGTdbloshoe , my most sincere gratitude for the marvelous answers you consistently manage to resolve for us all , you are a  True Treasure .

And that's another thing. How dishonest are people? I mean, finding ways to get the maximum points, wow.

The new CC vs CC Event version has to have dedicated courses to obtain points on, in "single" play game mode only.

Hell, the whole game should be single play rounds only.
