I'm going to list 5 things that could quickly be done in my view to make the game a little more enjoyable. Some of these are on the roadmap I understand, but my feeling is when the game starts to get a little frustrating stuff like this can help.
Now I would say to anyone who replies, you're welcomed to add 5 of your own to the list, but please try to be constructive. For example, don't just say fix the %$%^ meter. Sure that's probably a problem that needs to be addressed but it's nothing EASY about it, ok... here ya go...
1. Bring back keyboard shortcuts
At one time there was a shortcut to toggle the green grid off/on. That has sort of been solved. But things like toggling the pin off/on would be nice via a key touch, like just a touch of the "p." That's just one possible example, right now you're not utilizing the keyboard for anything.
2. Leaderboards for Awards
I know I know on the roadmap. But for the life of me I'm not quite following the difficulty in implementing this. You're already tracking these, you already have leaderboards like this in place for earnings. Seems like a no brainer, but who knows.
3. Tracking pins hit per course for each hole
Again this is for the award category. And again already tracking it. Adding a tab to the existing stats would seem appropriate. Kiawah for example could have 1 thru 18 and if a pin has been hit on 17 for instance a red X thru the number could signify that. Same thing for the other courses. It would make getting these awards more of a challenge vs just playing it out and being surprised when you get them.
4. Rework Award Milestones
Currently there are several awards that just aren't realistic. Aces, double eagles just to name a few. If you were to bring those values down, maxing out in awards could be possible. Not saying it should be easy, just possible.
5. Breakdown the experience points and where/how a player gets them.
Could be added to the FAQ, similar to how you already have done the awards.
Some of these maybe I'm over simplifying, but I hope you get the general idea. And I understand some if not all these have been mentioned in the past, just a gentle reminder. In times where updates are few and far between these sort of things can bridge the gaps while new courses, major updates come out. And again constructive replies alone guys, please!
