Good post.  Highlighted this bit because this is the bit I absolutely do not get assuming what Dedbunny etal says is possible.  No offense dedbunny just that when I was at school flash was was prefaced with Jumpin Jack and sung by The Stones.

So WGT choose to keep this game nearer the casual gaming end of town rather than grow it to a serious platform for respected competition. OK their company, and their $s as to what's worth it, but no way are they going to get that serious play market with what they don't do now.

I've maintained that the worst thing about WGT is the allowance of wagering. If WGT got rid of the RG's and the Challenge for credit play, cheaters would disappear in an instant.

Reporting suspected cheaters with solid proof is the best way for the wagering community to defend itself but I've never once been taken by cheaters and I never will.

I agree 100%  with you Mark...but I must say again, I was on no witch hunt, I started this thread because the other was locked down...I started it because of how I felt about things.

    mkg335:

My final post on the matter (yay!) and just a few points:

    1. The presumption of innocence is fundamental to any free and fair society.

    2. When cheating's possible, the weak will cheat in order to gain advantage.

    3. Half-truths are usually more damaging than outright lies.

    4. The burden of proof always lies on the accuser, not the accused.

    5. This whole episode has served only to pit member against member and is counterproductive.

    6. The responsibility for straightening out this mess and assuring members that they can play without fear of being bilked by cheaters lies squarely and solely on the shoulders of WGT.

    7. The powers that be need to look at dedbunny's suggestions (and those of others) about how to derail cheating.  Sadly, the case can be made that WGT's first priority is generating income and they'll be reluctant to do anything that jeopardizes that, even though in the long run they'll show a bigger profit if they can assure members that they're playing a fair and honest game.

Could very well be correct Cerino, but issue I have with that, it it wasn't for wagering my credits in RG's and an occasional MPC, I'd no be able to play here and have my fun...many folks have money, many have time for surveys and offers...I really only have time to play:)

Here is a little tidbit of info....... One of the moderators / employees of WGT was one of the original " Rat Pack" when the cheat engine first surfaced .They plotted how to cheat and set up the program amongst themselves. There is a respected player here with all the goods on it who refused to be part of it.  It is on a screenshot and can be published here. Anyone at WGT wanna 'fess up now ? or wait for the screenshot? Your call..... Got 2 days.

I expect to be put on moderation or banned from this forum over this. It would be consistent with the democratic way wgt handles things, and frankly I don't give a chit about this game anymore. The corruption, dishonesty and thievery here is overwhelming and not something I want to be part of.

Thanks guys...I already know I don't play "high" wind, too much calculating and I play pretty fast until I get to the green LOL...my problem is I learned to play on unlimiteds and playing hole 1-2 over and over, then 1-2-3 etc on each course...

Now I know the starting holes so well and got so used to being able to restart I have trouble staying focused on the 1st couple of holes and that's where I screw up, purely mental on my part....

However the deafening silence from WGT in response to my earlier post leads me to believe things will go on as if nothing has happened...sooooo, I won't be spending any credits to play yet....not if they allow the cheats to continue to fleece honest players.

I totally agree, Dan.     No apology still from WGT about the cc clash debacle,  so no views of adverts and no credits brought from me, I had a small stash but it's dwindled now,  I'll bee on the giveaway balls soon.

I know I promised my last post was it for me concerning this matter, but just wanted to say Romax has shed some very interesting light on the subject and Steve is right, he should in no way be punished by wgt for doing so...hell, they should thank him.
