Is there anyway that you could create a range and putting/chipping practice area.  People could then practice the various shots.  Learning how to work the ball is hard during the course of a regular game.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

Yeah pretty much everyone that plays thinks it's a good idea, it's actually been suggested a few times before. Who knows, maybe if we're lucky enough it'll be around sooner rather than later, because the majority of people I think would like to see such a system in place.

$300 on WHAT? ... You've only been here since July. Sure hasn't been clubs, since it appears that you still use the Starters. Say $8 for the avatar, that's leaves $292 in balls?

Driving range is well and good, and greenside practice area (bunkers/rough and the like) is imperative, but I would suggest first that they get the yardages right. There are any number of holes (BPB 1, Kiawah 9) to name just two where the approach shot yardages are out by up to 10 yds or more. And for some reason, a 20mph wind at St. Andrews will drag your ball sideways, yet at BPB the same windspeed has the affect of a gentle zephyr.
