I would definitely caution CC Owners to not bar their members from playing.  If they want to play let them.  If they want to purchases passes or just use their free ones, let them.

Caution the Owners??  Is that some kind of threat?

You got threat out of that??? Have I ever threatened anyone on here?  Ummm no.  All I am saying is that I have seen clubs eject members for something as small as missing a game invite.  I don't want to see Owners remove players because they have played in the event.

I read it as a threat as well.

If an owner wants to kick someone out for missing a game invite that is their prerogative.

Owners set CC Rules and members abide by them, leave, or are booted.

Isn't that the only power a CC owner has? Invite a new member, accept a member, or boot a member?

Exactly why I think 100% of the comments from owners regarding clashes was let the owner decide to enter or not.  If the answer was yes the CC participates if the answer is no the CC does not.

Do that and there would be no need to "caution" the owners.

I completely disagree with you there.  I don't feel owners are there to have rules so strict like that.  They are there to run a great club and help their members.

Decent CC owners are the only moral authority left in this game, seeing as WGT has opted to undermine Country Clubs by bypassing the owners.

    Really????

    With all due respect....

Think about it for a second.

Why should I keep another player on my friends list that never accepts an invite to a game from me - there is simply no reason to have them cluttering up my friends list and being green and not wanting to play.

The CC membership list is the same thing. But just the owner has control of that. If they do not participate then the owner's only choice is to boot them.

    Right?

Give the owner the ability to enter the CC in a clash or abstain and all is taken care of.

Surely in a CC v CC event - the owner must decide whether it enters.

The owner has to answer in the event of a farcical finish like in Clash 1

    Hey Shoe...

We would never eject a member of our club for playing the clash. All we did was post a message in our forum saying we were not going to participate as a club. We were not going to ask any member to play in it. We did not tell them not to play. We left it up to them. Last time I looked we had 6 members that had played. The last clash we were at 40 or so. You know what happened to our club last time. We just decided we would stay away from these as a club...

I've also advised my CC members not to participate in this nonsense. Although, despite being CC owner, I was unable to stop the process. WHY??
