putting speed

  I've been playing for many months and wonder why the putting has changed.  The bar jumps over half the indicated amount at times, others it goes faster than a driver[ don't know many players who swing a putter the speed of a driver}. The speed of other shots has also increased over what it use to be.  When your average goes from 68 to 74 something wrong. Any ideas why the changes?

  I played BPB in the monthly tournament, and was totaly lost. The entire front nine played 1 or 2 feet short, and the back nine played 3 OR 4 FEET LONG. On the weekly nine hole it changed on almost every hole.

  I played a CC tournament on BPB after those tournaments, with standard greens that ran faster then the weekly tournaments with very fast greens.

  How the hell can you retain an average with such inconsistancies? In the last week my average went from 68 to 74. When you adjust for the slower speed, you get burned on the next hole with faster speeds.
