Mobile Bug - Unable to Play - Help.

    Since the newest update the game has been very sporadic. First things first.

    On wifi, I know my internet connection is solid.

    8.1.1 Firmware.

    Right now the game is completely unplayable. Mulit or single player.

    The game loads but bar at the bottom sticks on Get Player Data. Then it will pop up the unable to parse response from server error. I am unable to cancel it, however I can start a round up and play but I cannot see the meter because of the Get Player Data bar at the bottom. It has done this off and on since the latest game update. I have been able to play a friend 3 rounds, that is all. This has to something on the back end. I have confirmed with other mobile players it is happening to them as well right now.

    If I can help in anyway with testing this issue or any others on mobile platform I would be more than happy to help beta, or alpha test.

    The samething is happening to me. I play on my iPad mini. I noticed it since I updated my iPad. So I created a new account and it works fine but if Iog off the new account and log on my old one I get the error again I emailed support so I hope get back to me soon

    There is sort of a work around. While get player data is first loading press cancel. It will stop loading for a second or 2 then start loading again.But the second time it loads, it loads correctly and the game proceeds.

    The only trouble I have is players quitting on the last hole. Don't they realize it is practice mode only and doesn't affect their average? Or that they lose 67 XP points plus the XP points for shots taken and hits on their balls if they use paid balls. And the player that finishes loses 37 XP points.

    That multi-accounting is prohibited is indeed mentioned - in the FAQ.
    Can I create more than one player account?

    Each player may have one account, and you can only create one player per email address. Playing in tournaments using more than one account is a serious offense and may result in being permanently banned from WGT.

    lol. I seriously doubt that he will get in trouble for creating an account to troubleshoot a technical issue. Lighten up guys. Seriously. Furthermore he is being open about it so obviously not trying to dual account like a lot do.

    Back on the subject. This issue is happening all the time to us mobile players. I did try this myself and it worked. Could very well be a coincidence.. I just played a round on the computer. After it was complete the mobile app loaded the player profile correctly and I could play. It was short lived... I closed the app after a couple of rounds and now seem to have the same issue.

    Not suggesting he should be banned, just odd to have a mod comment without mentioning an obvious rules violation. Multi-accounting for any reason is not good in general... Thus against the rules.
