this web site  is here to make money it is free entertainment, but if you want to succeed you must work at it.  do the surveys, steal your kids lunch money, determine what it is you need verses what you want. sacrifices must be made, the choices are for each person to make, if you can not purchase clubs, balls, etc. it is still free.  they provide you with whats necessary to enjoy the game.  have fun, its a game, not a standard of living.  free enterprise still rules in this great country.  my 2 cents.

Yes, I am serious and it's not a dumb idea at all, I think. Maybe 500 shots is not the right number for each yard, but some sort of wear option should be possible. And is one yard or two yards really going to make that much difference to your game? I think not.

Re the trade-in option, we should have (per Adam's suggestion?) a place where we could go and offer our old gear for sale - maybe WGT gets a percentage of the deal price for acting as a broker - or even GIVE IT AWAY to a named player. It is my gear, after all, so I should be able to do with it what I want.

It's not a bad business model either. Lots of folks will go for new stuff (as in the real world), but lots of folks are sure to take advantage of the trade option as well. More traffic in gear, therefore more commission for WGT. We get clubs we want in the way we want them, WGT makes money in the old way and in a new way.

As we say in the UK, "Simples..."

i personally think it would be win-win,from both perspectives. It would be a little tab in the pro-shop specifically for used equipment, click the tab like you would with driver, wedges, balls, golf sets etc...Go in,and it would show you the equipment, how much use,who it was used by.And what ever comes up in the used equipment, should be first come, first serve.

You took the words right out of my mouth!

i just wish they would give u better prices when u trade them in.would rather give the clubs to someone else to be honest then the price u get lol

Wow dudes on this forum are on the same wave length as me! Take note WGT, so many players feel ripped off that I've been able to find so many players with the same ideas.

Here's a question: How many times do you use your driver? As many holes as you're playing. How many holes does it take to work out that your driver is rubbish? 1 round. So you sell it back and knowing WGT they would knock off 1 credit and 0 yards after we complain for a while. 1 credit for 0 yards less? WHO WOULDN'T?
