Suggestion for new Wgt Course

  Just a suggestion if Wgt makes another 'Best Of' course.

   

  

  If they can try and make up an 18 hole course with no duplicate H/cap holes (red arrows)

  We use those for Stableford and Par comps using club h/caps.   With duplicate H/cap holes it makes things interesting for some....lol

  I do believe at some point the stableford scoring system will be put in for tournaments other then CC events.  Would be a good function to give to CC's

  It will be a good function for the CC's.

  When we play the Stableford and Par comps, with our club H/caps, we use the Hole Ratings and haven't been able to play the 'Best Of' courses in the past because they have Duplicate hole ratings.

  If Wgt makes up another 'Best of' course, hopefully that one won't have the Duplicate numbers.

  I have always felt that the Xp system should have sort of a stableford scoring system in it. I mean at present if I shoot say a 59 I just get 59 points for shots plus the points for 18 hole round. Another player playing in the same tourney  shoots say a 90 he actually gets rewarded more for playing poorly. Maybe get an extra point for each birdie and 2 extra for an eagle and so forth.

  Valid point. I've always wondered that about the WGT XP system - why would one earn less XPs by shooting a lower score?

  Pretty simple like real life ya gain experience when doing something more times

  I think you peeps have got it wrong.

  Every hole on all courses are rated from Hardest (1) to easiest (18) 

  When we play our Stableford/Par comps,  we use those ratings with our club hcaps. 

  Duplicate hole ratings as in the red arrows in my pic can screw everybody.

  There are no duplicate ratings if you stick to regular courses.  Just avoid the Best of ...

  But, it would be very nice if WGT gave us easy ability to run a Stableford scoring tournament.

  It would be great if wgt could make it possible to handicap players in CC tournaments. It would make it a lot easier to set up handicapped credit tournaments.

  Stableford is a fun way to play.  I like it, myself.   But, I'd rather see the bugs get fixed 1st.
