Please allow us to gift the Legend balls.

  I went to the pro shop to gift someone a sleeve of balls, but I'm unable to gift the GI2-SD2s.  "Gift now" shows up for all other balls except for the legend ones.  Code is already in place to allow the gifting of equipment that has level (the new code) and tier restrictions (the old code,) so please just combine the two so we can gift legend balls.

  I may be wrong, but we've never been able to gift legend equipment... so I don't see why we would be able to gift legend balls.

  If I remember correctly, there has never been "legend equipment" other than the balls.  Wasn't the legend tier added when levels became what unlocked equipment?

  I'm pretty sure you could gift master equipment back when tiers were what decided equipment availability, and obviously, as it is right now, level is what unlocks equipment.  The bottom line is that if someone is able to purchase a piece of equipment, you should be able to gift it to them.

  If I remember correctly we could never gift master equipment, but with that said the balls were never tier or level specific so they could be gifted to anyone.

  Sorry, I remember how it worked now.

  You could gift pro equipment (V2s, etc.), but not master equipment.  That, however, is a whole 'nother animal.  Back when tiers were what unlocked equipment, the reason for not allowing master equipment to be gifted was that you were giving equipment to someone who didn't "earn it" because they were not themselves masters.

  There is no legitimate reason, however, for not being able to gift equipment to people who can buy that equipment from the pro shop themselves, especially something as trivial as balls.

  no u were not able to gift master clubs when it was tiers to unlock the clubs once teh changed with tje tiers and stuff came ot then we are noe able to
