Short Game issues

  Read it here far too often about the sporatic and pathetic short game (esp. wedges) that has just about put me into the 'I quit' mode of walking away from this game. I've played numerous online golf sims and in real life for over 30 years to know how to hit a frickin wedge.....It's an understatement when you are playing well (at my level it may be -1 or -2) and KABOOM! a full wedge travels 3 or 4 yards or a flop shot goes 1 yard because of 'fescue' or light rough or sand....all of a sudden, a couple of equally pathetic game controlled shots add up to a double or triple bogey and you wanna put your fist through the monitor. I have no problem if I mis-played it, but......c'mon WGT - HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU HAVE TO HEAR THE SAME COMPLAINTS???? You got my $$, now make it work so you can keep some people on the site....I'm not the only one complaining......signed me - thinking of walking away.....

  I've own over 30 cars and trucks, been driving for over 40 years. I think I know something about vehicles and driving...My question to you my friend? Am I qualified to race in Nascar or IHRA?

  try the flop shot, race1010,

  It doesn't give you the same odds as holing a short approach, but it gives you much better distance control. Just remember to aim left, as the flop launches to the right off the club.

  Gives you a MUCH better chance of sticking it within 5-10 feet of the hole, and every now and again, one drops in ...........

  Great advice ... the flop works GREAT... don't forget the wind>>>>>
