I remove inactive members. As long as members play some part within the club and use their free passes then that's fine. I'll send another as I'm sure you'd gain from a club atmosphere.

Legend is an extremely well catered for tier equipment wise.  One hole a day and max CDP sees even very competitive equipment on stream v quickly - take a look at RGs and see what people are shooting well with.

Some cost or time spent doing surveys / watching vids is involved, and also time learning a more difficult game and competing in a higher standard is there too.

May not be ideal for every casual player, but that part of it is not bad either (business v player ideals).

Probably not something that will ever happen.  Giving players the choice would result in players staying in lower tiers to win credits easier.

Forgive me for my naivety as I don't play for credits, not sure how it works, but would players have an advantage not advancing tees if equipment was tier based rather than level based? Like it was in early 2010.

I'm not saying the choice would be nice so I can hustle credits from players on longer tee's, but once I moved back again, if I do move back again, then the game would have run its course for me and I will be no more. I will not spend a hundred dollar bill just to have equipment for those lengths. Since I am not a player that plays religiously then maybe this is all a mute point. I may never see a 63 scoring average and won't have to worry about it. Don't get me wrong, I very much enjoy the game, I just can't justify that kind of money on virtual equipment. Its already one of the most expensive video games out there (I think.) Hell, I've played 14 consecutive days and it seems like a ball won't last for more than 36-54 holes. Thats a nice bit of change for the players playing multiple rounds a day nearly everyday. I my self have spent at least $20-30 on balls the past few weeks. Which I will not complain about, WGT has to profit somewhere or else there would be no game.

People on the legends tiers beat me on a consistent basis, rather easily, and they hit from longer tees than I. I'm pretty much split 50/50 playing against players on my own set of tee's. I consistently beat hack's/amateurs who are hitting from shorter tees than I. So unless players purchase the equipment that should be outside of their tier, then what is the advantage of not moving back? Like I said I don't gamble for creds, no sure how it works, so please disregard if this is irrelevant.

    Thanks,

    BWS

No I still believe it would be unfair.  Just take the pro tier for example, a player who just advanced or a player who has been around for 1 year and has decided they want to stay at pro.  Same exact equipment, who has the advantage?  The player who has been playing the game for a year and knows the clubs and courses better then the newbie.

    meesterbond:
I think there should be a choice on whether you want to advance to the next tier.

Haven't read any of the replies to this, but this would be the dumbest thing WGT could ever do. You'd eventually have level 100 hacks and amateurs over-running the site. Not to mention the seemingly blessed Pro's and Tour Pro's already raking in the RG's on unsuspecting LEGIT players.

PS....I made Legend at level 77. It's also the BEST tier there is. Most enjoyable, even with inferior equipment.

If WGT offered the choice, they should also make it so no credits could ever be won, in any format, if a player chose to not move up.

like I said, I haven't read any other posts, so I'm probably repeating what someone else has already said. Gotta run.

Fair enough. So then would using this logic not dictate people hitting from the back tees have an unfair advantage over the all the other closer tees since they have nowhere to move back to?
