The end of the year is coming and this will be the last one for the year but, we couldn't be happier to feature Bridgestone Golf Club!  Read more about them below.

    Well that is an honour.

I know many fine people there will be v appreciative of this.  Nice that you allow people (ME, lol) to voice their opinions without taking it personal, even if it never is intended that way anyway of course.

I want to be the first from Bridge (this thread anyway) to say thanks v much for this v appreciated recognition.

Also (website over due for every half good excuse I have), I would to mention that we are starting to recruit genuine players again.  We pride ourselves on always endeavouring to only have v genuine players:)

We play a reasonable standard (through to the quarter  finals in the superbly put together Forum Grand Prix), and so usually look for enthusiastic and reliable Legends.

We have changed tack a little lately though and would like to extend the invitation to keen Masters and Tour Masters also.

If you have a good track record including regular play, or a v good reason why you will be regular going forward, and are Master or above please hit me up on my wall if you wish to join:)..(I serve as recruitment officer there).

Congratulations Bridgestone Golf Club and well deserved recognition. Some classy players whom I respect, or have earned respect I should say.

    Kudos to you guys.

PS good sales pitch Jim - I believe the Arabs might be looking to buy some sand, :)

Already on it's way.  Said it is not salty, and would look nice on their new lake created with the new  desalination plant:)...I wish, lol.

Shoe : this reminds me of the old quote "Got save the best for last" The Bridgestone CC is a truly great club with a fine group of players. And I have totally enjoyed my stay with this group of players& friends.

Also want to thank Moose for all the hard work!! Not a easy job being owner of a club.

Thank you for this award and want to say ' WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG!!"  LOL

LMAO - best laugh I have had in the forums in over a week - been dominated by other things!

Seeing Bridgestone honoured was a highlight.

As for desalination plants, a few years back when I was living in Singapore, I was given a VIP tour of the "NEWater" plant - not desalination but along those lines lol - recycled water. Put a new meaning on taking the piss.

Actually I take my hat of to Singaporeans for their innovation in many fields - 5 years wellspent, although I didn't think so at the time .....lah

Happenstance brought me to become a "stoner" (Thanks again Mainz)

I'd have probably given up the game without same, yet here I am knocking on the TL door. Fine folk, never unwilling to support in the WGT quest. (Thanks Ffudd wherever you are.)

I've invited  a few to give us a look. I tell them not to be intimidated by the number of Legends and Tours. I came as a new Pro, fairly disgruntled. It's easy to grow and prosper with tutelage. (Thanks for coming aboard Baldace.)

With the exception of WGTs UL stuff, I play very few of the main tourneys, due to the variety of extremely well thought out CC competitions. (Thanks Moose for keeping us sharp.)

Merry Christmas Bridgestone and all who participate in this World Golf Tour experience.
