  Great to see so many players tackling this tourney... and some very impressive scoring with these unforgiving clubs. I have to say I'm surprised to see so many under par at this stage.

  When planning the event, I suggested to Shoe that WGT might offer a sleeve prize to everyone who finished under par across the 2 rounds, but he passed on that one, worried it could be hundreds of players! He offered top 10 finishers instead (very generous in my opinion). I'm looking forward to seeing the final leaderboard to see if he made the right choice, lol!

  Great tourney so many good players turning up. Hopefully no xxxxx is going on!

  Obviously, thanks has to go out to Shoe for working with Corwyn and his buddy Cervino to set this up, keep the good work going guys.

  Looking forward to last 18 holes, which might be a nightmare with heavy winds and all, but hey, its all for fun so it is still open for anyone to take the win :)

  PS Last round in any big tourney that WGT is having a say, should always be same wind for all players...just saying.

  I'm suffering the indignity of a tie with Mikey Bags!  I was borderline incompetent with the irons and wedgies and damn lucky to manage six 1-putts on the round.  

  

  38-footer on 6

  Even better 38-footer on 7, except for the lipout.

  33-footer on 10

  28-footer to finish under par

  I'm making myself ineligible for the long putt award that I'm sponsoring.

  I think I'd actually prefer a headwind on all but the longest holes. I don't trust the runout on the starters.

  I was talking about the long holes obviously....

  Prefer to judge the run out than not reach !

  Played a terrible round(+2) as a result of the game client running dead slow and constantly asking me to retry to connect. Had to shut down and re-start several times. I just can't play that slow and remain interested. I have screen shots of the stats and card I might post later. Right now way too pissed off to continue on this site at this time.

  No worries Ben...separation will take a hold next week;)

   

  I slipped Ky a few goodies...he's putting the "word" in for me...seems he has figured out (via proper channels)  how to play play the next round sans UEL and winds:)

   

  I was thinking of asking him to let you in on it, but after you took all our skins last week...well....

  I've had a similar issue with the game client off and on last couple of days. It's maddening. 

  I'm still backing you for a top 10 finish though!

  Andy, I agree with mm. Headwinds are far better with starter clubs: it's often the only way to get the damn ball to stop, lol! I think there are only going to be a couple of holes where reaching the green could be an issue with a full headwind.

  Ben, congrats on that stellar putting display to rescue your round. 174' of total putts made is astonishing with the starter putter!

  I didnt know about screen shot of stat and all till it was to late. Guess i should read a lil more closely. lol luckly i had screen shots of the score cards to show in our mirc channel. here is a REPLAY of a nice putt i made on 5. thanks for putting it on its really fun.
