    QUICK UPDATE

    I've got 4 of 4 Division 1, 5 of 6 Division 2, and 3 of 4 Division 3 results in...

Nice work everyone. I think i've a handle on the two missing results.

    This week -

week off in Division 1 and Division 2, Group B! I won't be releasing your lineups for another week in response to your query, Mike.

makeup week in Division 2 Group A with our two new teams (Super Cool A and Gran B) playing two matches each ... Have fun and good luck getting your matches in!

and a regular week in Division 3.

Lineups by the end of today (California time!)

    Slor,

Old Log Cabin vs English Lakes was fixture 115.  You have two other teams in that slot in the standings chart.

Yellow Brick Road beat our A team 3 - 2 and our B team 4 -1. I filled in for roseliegh in the B team and conceeded the match as I was unable to finish it before work, but happy to concede as TDIFurby was 2 up after 3, and rather than have us both have to wake up way to early in the morning.

The league is really heating up, and is a lot of fun I do think some of us take it all a little too seriously, remember its fun and realise that through this divisional process eventually clubs will compete against even strength sides, dont take it all so personally, some of us really need to chill out a bit.

When the fixture above you submits twice, that's what happens. Corrected!

LEAGUE UPDATE - Release of lineups for week ending 6 February

    Fixture list (Rev 3)

    Submit lineups

    Lineups are released here

Submit results (home team only please)

    Results and standings automatically update

One result still outstanding in Division 2(A) - O Can "B" leads Gran "B" 2 1/2 to 1 1/2 with one match still to play. Still trying to get the last one in with the help of the captains.

Seeking your opinions - The course for the tournament phase of the league in March will be selected shortly. (The conditions will be set for each division round-by-round). Any thoughts? Which one would like it at?

JG - firstly thanks for your help getting the matches sorted last week. Saw your comments to TDI about how I came across. Unfortunately that's how I am in life (both work wise and personally) and people often say that I can be direct and forceful. I appreciate that I may've taken a bit of a hard line approach but at the end of the day, we've a team of guys at our end looking to get the matches through within the timeframes allowed. Their expressing to me that their ready and wanting to play and I then push to get actions to happen. Anyway no hard feelings from my side (I never take any comments to heart) and I wish both your sides well in your remaining fixtures.

Rocksteady - I think what Tess was getting across was the fact that you've signed up to an open competition where you're going to go up against players of all standards ;-)

Unsurprisingly the top CC's tend to have better players by average - this doesn't automatically mean their going to win everytime but you're going to have to bring your A game to stand a chance when playing them. Take the positive from that match; hopefully each of your players saw shots and approaches that they can look to replicate the next time they play that course.
