  I'm sorry to inform you that my vice-captain went off in a strop and left the club... I will tell you when I find a replacement... All I did was tell him to stop sending messages to me as I was in the middle of the game... Keep away from Uberdevil.

  I have had a look and made changes to the structure to avoid perverse promotion / relegation issues due to the one team per division rule. See the next post for details.

  As I said, I have had a look and made changes to the structure to avoid perverse promotion / relegation issues due to the one team per division rule. 

  After allocating divisions according to the Winter 2011 rulebook, it was apparent that the rule that no club can have a team in more than one division would have an adverse effect on the competition. In the first allocation into divisions, the entire second division could not be promoted into the first division because they were all "B" teams, and this scenario would have caused division 3 teams to be promoted straight into division 1. 

  As a solution, I have made the second and third divisions bigger, allocated teams according to the winter 2011 rulebook, and drawn teams at random into two groups. See the revised divisions here.

  There will be three teams promoted and relegated from each division to accommodate this change. See the revised rulebook for details.

  9. All teams shall play the other teams in their division or their group, if the division is split into groups, once. A “league match” will consist of five singles matches in match play mode over nine holes with the course, pins, and tees chosen by a host team. The wind conditions shall be set to random

   

  The rules call for home team to determine "settings" matchplay, practise mode. I see no selection for "random" wind conditions. Please explain how this can be done. Thank you.

  Look at the tabs at the top of the page for your division.
