Any word on the victor of the "Play O Canada B" match? Lineups to be released soon?

    My horses are getting restless...

Trying to get it played mate but really struggling to get any of them arranged at the moment. Bit frustrating but I can imagine it is even worse for you guys - we'll step it up and get this done ASAP

    UPDATE - FUTURE PLANS

Hi all - on the premise that less is more, I have changed my mind and will not be hosting a spring (Easter) tournament and will just stick to running the CC league... apologies for any disappointment caused!

Let's all put Monday 9 May in our diaries for the start of the summer season. What will happen is that the current teams will be placed into four divisions:

    • Division 1 = 8 teams from winter 2011
    • Division 2 = 8 teams from winter 2011
    • Division 3 = 8 teams from winter 2011
    • Division 4 = 4 teams from winter 2011

I will be putting out a call for applications for clubs to be in the league, and I will ask for feedback from current committee (kam4122, JGtassiedevil, Rocksteady, doctortom) and then make a decision on how many/ where teams will be placed. We should be getting to a place where we have competitive balance in each division, so new clubs (if any) should be elected to the appropriate division (e.g. should the Deviations sign up, would it be any fun to have them in Division 4? It wouldn't really be good for anyone).

To be clear, no team will be moved from their current division to make way for new clubs, so it is possible that your division may grow by a team or two by the time May rolls around. It also is possible that if clubs drop out of the league before May, there will be a choice to be made of filling their place(s) with a new club or promoting the next eligible team from the division below.

You are doing an awesome job with the current CC league Slor, it's already very involved! There is no need to worry about the Easter tournament. Interst is very high at my club and as such The Normans Webb Collective would like to enter a C team for next season.

Hey slor we have two games that have ended in a half in the match between UKGE and NWC. Do the matches finish a half or do they go to extra holes?

Answer: The matches finish halved. If you are still level after 5 matches, each captain nominates a player to compete in an 18-hole playoff. This playoff match goes to extra holes if needed.
