In his many words, he said nothing about "earning the daily balls in CC tourneys".

    Otherways, no hard feelings.

    Have fun!

You presume that all CCs host "daily balls" tourneys, and those that do offer balls anything close in quality to what you have your game tuned up to use. Quaint, that.

To tell WGT, you might PM a mod or post on their wall - we were told that it might be more effective than posting here.

Sounds like an excellent idea, alosso, for what little I understand of what you mean by "PM a mod."

I don't know how to do that. Could you offer any guidance, please?

PM = Private Message, you need to be on their friend list. So send an invite.

Best to post on the Mod's wall first.

Nope. I presume that you want to buy your daily balls from CC winnings, and now it starts to waste my time. Bye.

I'm going to presume that "mod" means a WGT "moderator" or some such. If that's so, who are the WGT mods? Is there a nest of them somewhere so I could befriend one or more of them in order to post my suggestion to their wall?

Appreciate any/all guidance here. Obviously, I don't have much experience in these forums.

I'm in favour of good ideas but (though I haven't read through the whole thread) in response to the OP, I don't think it's really down to WGT to take this on.

As courteneyfish said clubs can use the info button in the CC directory...

they can explain what their club is about by articulating it in the forum (CC Corner)

but more than that if they're going to be taken seriously they should have a decent website separate from WGT that informs 'would-be members' on everything they might want to know about the club before getting involved.

If they don't have a good and informative website you can usually assume they are just another badly organized, mickey-mouse CC (like so many on WGT).

A well-organized and well run club will have everything and more for prospective members to consider prior to joining, so it's down to the CC to present itself well and down to players to look for the clubs.

...and if at first you don't succeed, try again!

I guess I'm doing it all wrong then.

    ...well the best club's have them - that's all I'm saying :)

It's the best way of getting across what your club is about. I'm a little surprised The People's Club doesn't have one yet!

    Nonsense.
