andyson: If that's what you are saying.....Could it be the Browser or Flash is using CPU time to manage its cache?
I might agree with you. But my cpu load is consistent which is 0%. The other aspect I treat the meter as a glorified progress bar. Sorry WGT if you take offense, but it is just what it is. The complexity of the progress bar is non-existent. The variables used to control the speed of the bar is questionable. If other players do not have these kind of issues, then WGT needs to address this issue.
This computer is no slouch. The MB uses two CPU's (Xenon processors) both running at 3.33 Ghz. The computer will outperform alot of the current computers on the market today. Question, how many computers do you know have the following benchmark. 44.6 Giga flops per second.
Now, I use a Firefox which can allow the user to setup different profiles based on surfing needs. I have one profile specifically for WGT and nothing else. So, I remove all the files in the profile and restarted the browser. What this does is rebuild the profile and you have to reset the preferences after.
andyson: After re-reading your posts several times I now think that's not what's happening. The meter speed isn't changing, but it's no longer smooth after playing 5 to 10 minutes. There are stutters?
The meter does not stutter, but it does speed up through impact and the speed is inconsistent as well. I do not rush my shots, hence I have been criticized for playing to slow.
I have been around computers for a long time and do consider myself knowledgeable.
