Being forced to re-set game invites

  Every since the last update, when game invites are sent out, if any one of those do not accept the invite and we cancel their's and invite another, (and they accept) we are forced to re-set the whole process because those that have accepted the invite do not see the one that has accepted.  It's very frustrating.  

  I hope this makes sense!   

  Example:  Player "A" sets up a game on any course and invites friends "B", "C", and "D". "D" does not respond to invite (perhaps is away and forgot he/she was green).  Player "A" cancels the invite to player "D" and invites player "E".  Player "E" accepts the invite. Players "B" and "C" do not see that player "E" has accepted.  They only see Player "D" spinning.

  I am assuming that issue is the same one that affects alternate shot games. Because the symptoms seem very much the same.

  A group of us that play on Ventrilo have been having a similar problem. We will set up an Alt Shot match and a player will send out an invite to all of us. But sometimes one or two of us don't get the invite. We have to have someone else send out invites and sometimes they may have the same problem and we move to the next person to send out invites. This has been going on since last update. 

  Are you still working on this icon? Is anyone else having this trouble? If your not all on skype or something and someone you invite isn't accepting it may because they are not getting it at all.

  This is still happening can take a long time to arrange an alt game cos it only takes one player  to decline and invite &/or  not receive invite and you have to reinvite everyone until you receive 4 acceptances.

  Also there are alot of players not receiving invites when sent i have instances where i have invited player to a game  and they have responded saying "accept my invite" but no such invite is received.  when i have eventually played that person am told they have tried to invite me 3 times.

  Many players are suffering from this and  are thinking of quiting as it can be impossible to get game sometimes.

  Please look into this urgently wgticon it has been going on for some time now and making this game impossible to play.

  I am sorry to see that others are having this problem but I am glad that they are speaking up. When I reported the problem to WGT I was at first insulted by them telling me that I did not know how to turn my status light onto green. WRONG!

  Then I was told that it was a problem isolated to my account that they could not replicate and therefore could not fix. Now I am quite confident that they can't fix the problem because they never fix a problem. Instead they add or change features hoping that we are stupid enough to be distracted by the new bells and whistles.

  WGT you now have competition for our time and money. I won't mention the site, that would be wrong of me, but I will tell you this. When you are standing around by yourself wondering where all of your customers went don't say that we did not ask for fixes before we slammed the door behind us

  I am not sure if WGT knows this is still a problem since they haven't responded lately. But it is. It's not the browser or the cache or anything on our pc's. As I stated in my previous post, I play with a group of guys on Ventrilo. We get a group of 4 guys together to play Alt Shot. One guy sends out the invites. We all know the invite is coming and are waiting for it. We are all green and available. Sometimes out of the 3 invites that are sent out only 1 will get the invite. So then we change the person to send out the invites. There are times we have to go through all four of us before the last person can get the invites sent out to all the players. Just last night I sent out the invites and all of the other 3 could not get the invite. We have tried restarting our browser, changing browsers and rebooting our pc's. But this has no effect. The one thing we have found is that this problem happens when the player that is sending the invites, it is his first game of the day. Maybe that bit of information will help you WGT.

  It would be nice WGT Icon if you would acknowledge that this is still a problem that you know about and are still working on. I understand it may be a complex problem and WGT is having a hard time figuring it out. But at least let us know.

  The next time I have the problem of my invites not being seen, I will go and play a quick blitz and come back and send invites out again and see if that solves the problem and let you know.

   If it is any comfort, you ar not aloe in this many of my friends are tll ing me the sme thing. I believe you have explained this extremely well..... hit'em high and keep 'em dry
