  Thanks PGAbound for the black-tee input. Number 13 at Kiawah sounds like it's next to impossible to even par. I'm going to start shooting some practice rounds from the black-tees at Kiawah.  : )

  agree with that...legend tier certainly sounds scary and I think I enjoy being TM as long as it lasts. but since I am not really into MPC and RG that much I reckon I will just try to embrace the challenge.

  and even if it may not be as much fun then - we will always have such entertaining forum threads like this one lol

  way to go!

  I could have scored a few more birdies, but my putting skills let me down. I bounced into the rough on the first hole and made a poor chip shot leaving it long. Hole 18 is tricky and will take a little getting used too. Over-all, not a bad score my first time out. What's all the fuss about the black-tees? It's challenging to me like WGTicon mentioned.  : )

  You are still playing a watered down version of what legends deal with though.  It becomes significantly harder with tournament greens trying to stop a long iron within birdie putt range.

  I realize this Bollox, I got a glimpse of that on the first hole, and I'm used to the tournament speed greens. I still played with all the hard practice settings too. You could of mentioned something positive for me trying Bollox. I'm looking forward to becoming a Legend player. There isn't a whole lot of members embracing that thought these days.  : )

  Sorry, wasn't meant to be negative,  just pointing that you can't really get the effect without the length+green speed.

  Are there 2 versions of Tournament greens? This is the default speed of the TMs-do they get faster at Legend?

  Not sure but you can't choose tournament speed in practice mode for some reason.
