  Don't remember seeing this in brought up yet, and didn't feel like going through the entire thread again.  lol

   

  Maybe it's just on Pebble ctth, but the wind spread is 4mph now instead of 2.  8-12 vs 8-10 for example.

   

  Edit**  next try it was 11-13 on first shot.

  I concur but  after the first hole, it went to 4mph. Bandon Dunes was 2mph as was St. Andrews but SA was low wind, 6-8.

  Some knowing IT person needs to weigh in here on this because IDK if that's possible. The files that count are loaded during play and I would imagine the data being sent back after a shot would have to make sense on WGT's end where the correct files would be.

  IT Person indeed a good idea.

  FWIW and off point quite possibly (it is IT so forgive, lol) WGT did say they are working on:

  • Investigating ways to reduce memory to improve performance

  Many shots on many of the  CTTH courses have a wind speed dpread of 4. This weeks    CTTH  tourney at Harbor Town has 2 or 3 shots with a spread of  4.

  Haven't played any stroke rounds since noticing that,  wonder if the spread of 4mph will be added to stroke play ever.

  I doubt it. That spread of 4 has been on the ctth courses ever since they added  variable wind speeds on the web version.

  maybe it depends on how you are clearing it.....if you clear anything other than the cache, like other browser settings, it has always reverted to default settings in the golf game for me.

  Shows how much I play the CTTH's lol.

   

  Although, I do find the Bandon dunes a fun CTTH/Blitz track as the shots are all with a wedge.  Great practice track for trying different shot types with wedges.  I can play all but 2 shots there with the 50yd CG punch quite well actually.  :)
