They responded to one of my tweets, stating this (not sure what it means)

    @JASouthFlorida @worldgolftour @AllianzLife Thank you!! Wish I was a little better so I could grab a few more birdies for @JASouthFlorida - 15 Jan

@jayw4862 No need-all it takes is an #AllianzBirides tweet to raise $1. Making a birdie is optional, but we'd love for you to keep playing!

Even if it's a dollar max per person, it could really add up and benefit a young golfers organization. Plus, you get a decent free ball. If everyone signed up, used the free ball they give you, and made one birdie, tweeted it, it would be a fairly substantial amount (assuming WGT really has as many active players as we've been led to believe). I seriously doubt Allianz would donate $1.00 for every birdie that every player made.

    Still, it's a good cause.

This will probably start a frenzy..I am willing to bet that many people on here don't do Social Media(Facebook, Twitter, among others), such as myself.  So we aren't allowed to play and get the donation made.  Sure we can play, but that is where it stops.

Join Twitter just to donate.. Not a F'ing chance.

Sorry I am not of the younger generation that can't hold a conversation with another person.  But yet they will sit across from each other and text their conversation, or air their dirty laundry on Facebook, for the world to see.

My kids are of the next generation after the current and even they won't answer a dam phone or listen to a voice mail.  But will jump right on a text.  To watch them constantly stare at the phone just irks me to no end.  We probably were in the last group of people to even get cell phones.  We have them, they are a phone.  Text and Internet on those phones is turned off.  I don't let a phone run my life, like the NOW generation does.

But what can you do.  Go ahead fire away, as I am wrong.

No Twiiter and no Facebook for me either. I go outside and yell at the kids directly when they try to play on my lawn. ;)

I started a round with birdie - par - birdie but when I clicked the allianz link which came up after 2nd birdie twitter said i had already tweeted this message. So I slightly changed the wording, being careful to leave the #Allianz in the text as required.

Why did I have to do this? Will I need to do it for every bird?

That's just a twitter thing..  It won't let you tweet the exact same msg twice.. Like you said, you just have to change the wording a little every time.

As far as the pay-out, I don't have a clue about that.

here's what the WGT news page says:

Compete in this 18-hole stroke play tournament, and for any birdie that you get and tweet about using the hashtag #AllianzBirdies on Twitter, Allianz will donate $1 to Junior Achievement.

Play as often as you want to post your best score (and make the most birdies) now thru 2/15/15, for your share of the 200,000 WGT Credit purse.

It says "any" not "every" so it's still not too clear. But, there is a nice purse available, though I won't be getting any of it :-( . My local Internet cafe is closed until Feb 9th.

Anyone else notice that you do not receive the "Twitter" notice when you make an eagle?

    Show off!  ;)

I was wrong about that. It's Junior Achievers of Florida. Sorry. Have no idea why I put golf in it.

LOL, That's why I pointed it out to you, Jay.

I did, however, make bird on #1...have no idea how...just did. We won't talk about the other 8 holes on the front. Thanks. Thinking about whether or not I want to try the back 9. LOL
